It still doesn’t really make sense that he was talking about the violence in Kenya, because it started in December of 2007 and ended in April 2008....LONG BEFORE OBAMA EVEN WON THE 08 election. At least that’s what I gather from a quick wiki read. If it was in reference to the violence... Why would Obama be talking about ‘sorting out a problem’ that had already been sorted out?

Well you can stand behind him if you want, but be forewarned, Kenyans have a lot of beans in their diet. As for him "marking" well that's just a chance you'll have to take.

I guess James Orengo didn't get the memo that the expiration date (”not to reveal before” date)for the Kenya national security secret of Obama’s Kenya birth doesn't occur until the day after Obama’s last day in office!
Furious spinning to denounce Orengo as a demented old fool will doubtless commence immediately. Hopefully nothing dangerous to his health will transpire, as he seems to espouse laudable nonsectarian democratic values, at least for natural born citizens of Kenya within Kenya.

Both BOR and Beck have acted very strangely about the birth certificate matter. They both have unnecessarily ridiculed anyone who doubts BO was born in Hawaii. BOR also lied during his program when he stated that he had seen the birth certificate and that the newspaper announcements verified the Hawaii birth. These two guys could have easily made a simple statement that they did not believe it is a matter worth pursuing. Instead they chose to imply that only nut cases are interested in proof of BO’s birth place. Why would they deliberately antagonize a significant (and they know there are a lot of conservatives who doubt BO’s claim to being born in Hawaii - they HAVE to) segment of their audiences? The Saudi angle potentially has merit as do the several articles we’ve seen here about the administration threatening the media on the birth certificate matter.

Interesting! In 2007 Orengo supported Obama’s Loa tribal cousin (real cousin, distant or non-cousin depending on who is asked).
Could this be a signal of some kind from Odinga to Obama delivered through Orengo? Perhaps a signal that “We can embarrass you Obama and even threaten your presidency!”
If Odinga and Orengo are attempting to blackmail Obama the “accidental” Kenya birth reference could be a demand that Obama stop doing something, perhaps stop interfering in Kenya politics in a way that is aiding their enemies.
Or perhaps the Kenya birth reference is a veiled demand that Obama stop refusing to do something such as paying them off or refusing to help Odinga gain the top job in Kenya.
Orengo seem to be the sort who should have almost certainly gotten the word to keep quiet about Obama’s Kenyan birth, so I am very suspicious that this “gaff” (accidentally making a true statement) may have been intentional.

Obama and his administration have made frequent visits to Africa and Kenya. Sofar, Emanuel, Hillary, Panneta, and Obama have made trip in the last year and half. He does keep in touch.
Watch the interaction between the two countries and the news out of Kenya. It could provide a clue.
