Why does World Net Daily insist on the Continuance of their birther stories?
The Woodward Report ^ | April 14, 2009

Why does World Net Daily continue to push their stories about the possibility of whether Obama is constitutionally eligible to serve?

At first it was compelling, quite intriguing to read the stories that they dug up on the mysterious background of the 44th President of the United States. However, at this point it’s futile and they must be doing it simply for website traffic. It does not matter, the issue will go nowhere. There is no possible way, even if their assumptions are true, that the allegations will amount to anything. They continued their onslaught of stories on the matter the other day with a piece entitled "Kenyan official: Obama born here". There complete archive of articles on the issue can be viewed HERE.

I believe WND to be a quality and informative website putting forth stories that are relevant and newsworthy. However, their obsession with the birther issue has left them to be openly mocked. It discredits them as a news outlet, and continues to only damage the reputation of what is a legitimate news outlet. My advice to Joseph Farah and the organizers of the site is to drop the issue. Quit printing material concerned with whether he is “constitutionally eligible to serve”. I understand that these are serious charges and that if these allegations are true it is a travesty that Obama was allowed to avoid the regulations which are required to the hold the highest office in the land. But the issue is of no consequence at this point. Obama is the President and it must be respected that he is.

WND should focus its resources on exposing the President’s policies. They should focus their attention on his radical agenda, his dismantling of our republic and his goals of dramatically shifting the composition of our great...

Instead of worrying about what will “work,” how about caring about the truth?

Rush had a paper Obama supposedly wrote at Columbia. saying how he hated Reagan and want to totally eliminate nuclear weapons.

He also mentioned that was all they could come up with.

Sometimes, I wonder, too... as Obama, even if proven to be born in Hawaii, is NOT a “natural born citizen” as defined by common law at the time of the writing of the constitution.

Both parents must have been citizens and he must have been born in U.S. territory. Clearly, his father was not... therefore, he is not.

Period.

Just wondering, how long it would take you to put your hands on a certified copy of your birth certificate and every passport ever issued to you? And would you have any reason not to show them to anyone who might wish to see them?

Maybe because there is something there and everyone is either ignoring or mocking the story.

LOL. Yeah, and to think they think illegals are a problem in our country. They are just friendly lettuce pickers, according to McCain.

because it is completely believable that hussein is NOT eligible to be President...as a matter of fact, I would say it is more likely than not...

For all who seem to believe this has been settled because “Obama showed his birth certificate...”

I would like for you to walk into the DMV and ask to renew your drivers license or even change your address and when asked for identification, give the worker a piece of paper with a URL of your scanned drivers license. Just see how far you get with that.

Now, if you can’t even get behind the wheel of a vehicle without showing proof of who you, why did we give the nuke codes to someone for less than you are asked to give.

Orly Taitz Uninvited to Tea Party, Called Crazy by DeVore http://blogs.ocweekly.com/navelgazing/the-hilarious-haters/orly-taitz-uninvited-to-tea-pa/ The Los Angles Times says that Laguna Niguel's Dr. Orly Taitz has had her invitation to speak at a Pleasanton, Calif., tea party rally on Thursday rescinded. Other politicians who had planned to speak there weren't too psyched about the idea of sharing the stage with Taitz. In the article, a representative Orange County's top tea-partier, Chuck DeVore, bashes Taitz. "I can say emphatically that the Chuck DeVore campaign and Chuck DeVore himself strongly disapproves of Orly Taitz and the crazy theories she continues to advance," said Josh Trevino, a DeVore spokesman. Taitz's blog has no mention of the disinvitation. A post today says she'll be speaking at three tea parties, though it doesn't say where.

I never visit WND any more. Too hard to distinquish their news from their ads.

Besides if anything there is newsworthy... It’ll be FReeped.

But still... I’ll take the looniest tunes from Joe Farrah anyday over the idiotic remark from this article.......

Obama is the President and it must be respected that he is.

Remember how the MSM got GWB’s grades and laughed at him because he was a C student. Then somehow someone got ahold of Kerry’s grades and found out that the “cerebral” candidate had WORSE grades than Bush. Notice how the MSM goes on and on how “brilliant” Gore is, and never made fun of his flunking out of two schools.

Have you noticed that this argument is coming from all over the place, all of a sudden.

Birthers are wasting their time. There's better stuff to focus on.

And in every case limit the scope of birtherism to a birth certificate that no body has ever seen. I'm talking about the REAL birth certificate. The one Obama has illegally spent campaign funds to hide. The one Obama is now using Jutice Department attorneys (civil servants) to prevent the release of birth, education, medical and professional records.

America doesn't have a right to know who, or what Obama is, nor where he come from — nor who sent him.

Barack Obama has a thousand loose ends. And everybody knows it.

Welcome to the Twilight Zone.
