It’s not natural.Back and forth,back and forth,back and forth.

We’ve lost interest because the players are either jerks or weird, and it’s hard to get involved with most of them.
Another point: when you’re talking football or basketball, you’re seeing guys who’re being guys smashing away at each other, gladiator-ishly. :P Tennis still retains its tennis club/elitist rich boy atmosphere.
I don’t think tennis has ever been broadly popular, anyway. It’s for people with money, and most people know it and don’t care about it.

Note that it does not apply tot he two men sisters of the williams either.
Other than that it is crap.

Kas, playing tennis takes far too much effort for your average obese adult WalMart American of these times. All that running. All that sweating. And it has really complicated scoring ... worse than bowling. As far as watching it on TV goes, the euro-weirdness and the grunting on every shot just don't seem to appeal to a nation hooked on watching steroid-hooked ubermenschen culled from our finest housing projects compete to see who can make the most inane and ungrammatical statement after the game.
Tennis? It's just about as bad and boring as getting in your car and driving to the polls on Election Day ... which doesn't appeal to most Americans either.
