A Montana Senator admits to Writing Health care Bill but not Reading It. This is disgustingly typical of our fallen times.
As a pundit who has been very skeptical of both Democrats and Republicans, Paul Owen has taken a very keen interest in the recent primaries. Of major concern to him and many Americans is that more establishment politicians are sent back to Washington.
A prime example of the political establishment mindset has come courtesy of a town hall meeting held my Montana Senator Max Baucas (D) and HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, in which the new health care bill was a major topic of interest on the part of constituents.
As the health care bill debate raged last summer and even earlier this year, a constant theme was that the bills were too long and that legislators didn't read them. At this town hall meeting, Baucus resurrected that bone of contention when a constituent asked him if he'd read the bill while using the word, despicable to describe the Senator and the HHS Secretary if they hadn't read it.
Baucus, who has actually taken credit for authoring the bill, left people even angrier with his response. While admitting to essentially writing the health care bill, Baucus then confesses to not having read it.
Here is the direct quote from Baucus: I dont think you want me to waste my time to read every page of the health care bill. You know why? Its statutory language, Baucus said. We hire experts.
Montana ping
I think alot of people wrote it. I think they had most of it written during the reign of Hillary Rodham. Just waiting for the next screwed up demoncrap to come along to endorse anything they made up.
Maybe you good folks in Montana should fire Bacus and hire the expert who actually read the bill.
By whom is He PAID to use GhostWriters?
If I were from Montana, that’s exactly what I’d do.
Since I am paying for your so-called "experts", have them interpret this for you:
When promulgating your esoteric cognitations or articulating your superficial sentimentalities and amicable philosophical and psychological observations, beware of platitudinous ponderosity. Let your verbal evaporations have lucidity, intelligibility and veracious vivacity without rodomontade or thespian bombast. Sedulously avoid all polysyllabic profundity, pompous propensity and sophomoric vacuity.
Then, have them translate this: STFU
Sincerely,
An anally-assaulted taxpayer.
“While admitting to essentially writing the health care bill, Baucus then confesses to not having read it.”
How can you claim to have “essentially” written something and have no clue as to what is in it? “Essentially” simply means he just put his name to it. Why not hire “experts” to distill out all the “statutory” language, and make a small, readable, and above all, understandable bill that we can all read. Even this putz.
So, he lied, then. It is not possible to author something without also reading it. Was he channeling Karl Marx?
Nice. However, you missed the commas that go before “and” when writing a list.
Baucus won’t read my letter, just like he did not read his own bill. I’m not looking for a grade, just meeting absurdity with absurdity. Keep in mind I am a product of Illinois public education. That should speak volumes for my lack of commas - they cost too much.
Right. Everyone knows that Soros’s Center for American Progress is writing 99% of the crap currently coming out of DC.
If he was on the House floor, he stumbled quite a ways away out of the Senate. :)
He snapped back at the Little Old Lady from Libby when he said that. He a punk. His crazy wife didn't punch him hard enough on the way out of their marriage.
