A very entertaining thread. But there are a few things I’d like to point out. First, sometimes a jerk is just a jerk. If someone spends all their time putting “blog pimp” comments on a threads posted by bloggers, it’s just because he wants to. There doesn’t have to be any conspiracy behind it. Then, if another jerk sees this and likes it, they start doing it too. You know these guys and gals, they were the ones to pick on the slow kids in school. What? Did you think they got nicer once they grew up?
Now, not calling anyone ‘special needs’ for posting excerpts from their blog without posting the full post below, but it is a bit of bad manners here. There are folks that sign up for only one purpose, and that is to promote their blog. You see that all the time now that FR is so huge. And, because FR is so huge, it is a large target to Marxists/Leftists/Democrats/Satan worshippers/pedophiles/International Socialists/National Socialists/Communists/DU’ers/and people who hate puppies. Oh, and Willie Green of the train fetish fame.
But while there is probably coordination between the bumbling forces of evil, they don’t rise to anything other than mild annoyance. Think of them as sand in the bathing suit of reason.
I doubt they are getting funded because Soros is too busy trying to take over all of the media (http://www.freepress.net/) and (http://mediamatters.org/) to worry about your blog or Free Republic for that matter. So, understand there are thorns among the roses here on FR and don’t worry about those that seem to tag your every post. Be flattered instead, they are possibly the only people paying attention to what you write.
Now as for the other topics raised on this thread:
1. Yes he would hit it.

3. The safe house is compromised. I saw it on Google street view.
4. Paranoia is combated with chocolate.

7. I’ve never clicked on the Mitt ads, the guy is a used car salesman and sweats the jelly you find in a spam can.

I don’t think they’re Soros plants. I just think they have no lives and they’re incredibly annoying. I’m perfectly capable of making my own decisions about whether a blogger is worth my time or not.

Whatever appears in the comment sections is fine with me. It does not affect the post itself. Actually I didn’t mind it 10 years ago when open lefties would post comments. Some of them were actually intelligent and I enjoyed the back-and-forth. When they all got banned in the interest of keeping it all conservative, I was indignant for a moment but only a moment. FR really didn’t need to waste the bandwidth on them. That is when it occurred to me that hey, all this costs money and they have plenty of their own space on their own forums. They did tend to write better when they posted on NR compared to the trash talk name calling that passes for discourse on such fora as DU.

Of course, the threat is you. Have you ever posted an article written by anyone other than yourself? I note that you have replied to threads other than your own articles, but they are decidedly few and far between. I also note that most of your mindless little posts have fewer than 10 responses, half no doubt from the blog pimp posse, hard at work. Your purpose on Free Republic is clearly no more than to serve as a cheap reflector to your sorry attempt to earn a living. I think you have a perfect right to do this, but when you are selling no more than toxic pig entrails, don’t expect me to fall for your claim that is U.S. Prime Filet Mignon.
Your very useful vanity will no doubt result in future responses to your posts being cut at least in half. Well done!

would have been more powerful to name names with the accusations. Everything you’ve written has been ongoing since I’ve been here in ‘98.
There are many from that time, 1998, who’ve signed on and their screen names are dormant until there’s major breaking scandals of the left. 2004 was another high sign on date too it seems.
