Ferraro specifically addressed, on numerous occasions,the grotesquely sexist smear campaign relentlessly waged against Palin by the ultra queer, ulta racist, ultra muslim, ultra sexist, ultra marxist, ultra scumthug Obama campaign in 2008.

Freepers are very educated on all things Ferraro, but you come across as trying to be as mean and nasty and classless as you can be.
You could have taken a lesson from what other freepers on another thread said, that while they were totally against her political persuasions,she and her loved ones deserve are prayers. Why shovel $hit on someone you hate after they are dead’ just because you can. Conservatives and Pubbies are better than that.
I can assure you, you have removed all doubt.
If you can recall back during the 2008 election, Sarah had mentioned Ferarro in one of her speeches, and spoke about the historical significance. Geraldine, in turn, spoke well about Sarah, sticking up for her, relatively speaking, as a Democrat. It was clear that Geraldine did not like the way her party had treated Sarah.
WEll let’s see she knew her from working at Fox, they co hosted election night together and actually got a long fairly well and last but not lest there have been two women who were in the VP spot in the hisotry of this country and I think it’s very proper of the survivng one to make a statement on the death of the ohter....Outside of her virulent support for abortion she was fairly conservatie for a democrat by today’s standards.
The last hour, you've already forgotten that you're American. Nationality's not so important anymore.
Then goes your concern as to whether or not Kerry beats Bush, or the republicans win congress. It's no longer a concern in your life even if you were a life long political pundit like a Rush Limbaugh or an Ann Coulter. You could see on the TV John Kerry making his victory speech and it would not matter.
The important things in life narrow down to only a few. Close family and friends.
Only the American soldier who is killed in battle dies as an American.
On the death bed we are no better than any other political party, race, nationality...
Now once we meet our maker. That's a different story. I'll leave it up to God to judge others. In God's eyes judging others could be no better than murder. The reason both are wrong is because the violator is trying to play God.

THank you for your thoughtful post. Very well said. My sympathies to her family. My uncle passed from Multiple Myeloma. I had no idea she was suffering from it as well.

Sarah has again shown she can rise above partisan politics when appropriate, and showed she has the respect, grace, and good manners that everyday Americans relate to.

I think Sarah’s comment was very classy.
May Geraldine Ferraro get her just reward as everyone does.
