Well, if there’s going to be an exposure of Obama’s ineligibility, I hope it happens just before the election when it’s too late for the Dems to recover, and it had better be solid.
I’m not holding my breath, though.
If Hillary didn’t find proof, I don’t know who’s going to. She certainly would have used it if she found it, and she certainly would have tried to find it.
I haven’t seen any strong evidence of modification, and I’ve seen all the claims. I disagree that there is such evidence in the claims made.
Now what?
Why bother to put the wrong seal on there?
Even I can find and copy the correct seal.
Why can’t the White House?
It's not so ridiculous. Bamie BC II is an obvious fraud. (One simple picture shows it's a fraud.) Trump is txe dog that didn't bark.

As I have said several times here now, every typewriter I ever used had the capability to type at the mid-character position by holding the backspace key down and then typing a character before releasing the backspace key. (Now I'm really sorry I threw out that old manual a few years ago!) The kerning issue is a diversion IMHO.

I didn’t say necessarily that the content or meaning of the image was modified. To say that I would have to see the original document that was delivered to Obama by the state of Hawaii, or have a report from someone I trust (emphatically NOT a member of the MSM) who has seen it.
That’s not likely to happen.
It took three years to get any long form certificate (real or not) out of Obama, and it was Trump and the threat of Corsi’s book that got that much of a response from him.
All I can say with certainty was that the digital file containing the image was modified (or more correctly, processed) to the point at which there are obvious anomalies in what you see (if you choose to look).
No one has yet to offer a clear explanation or demonstration of how those anomalies could have been produced as an innocent byproduct of scanning the physical document and converting it to the pdf format, with or without OCR processing.
Okay. I found an old typewritten letter. Here's a little bit of it:

So you accept an image produced by the white house on faith - no amount of anomalies in it will sway you.
Have fun arguing acceptance on faith of an image that the white house felt compelled to release because the previous document they released was a demonstrated fraud.
At this point we are at least in the “trust but verify” area.
And the latest PDF is not standing up to the verification.
Why wouldn’t the white house make every effort to put forth a clean scan (no layers/color anomolies/computer generated components) to put the issue to rest? Surely the WH is capable.
Why don’t they replace the PDF with a clean scan now? (and apologize)
Her is my proposal to clear up this issue AND feed some homeless people:
o Waive privacy rights to the documents relating to his birth with the state of Hawaii.
o Have Hawaii deliver a certified copy of the birth certificate, to all requestors - for a charge of $115.
o The proceeds will cover administrative costs ($15) and a $100 to a homeless shelter.
Since the information is already out, there is no real loss of privacy to Obama, and everyone can get a reminder of one of the iconic issues of Obamas first term. (And real hard-core skeptics can examine a true certified paper copy.)
PLUS
Some great charities will get the benefit of both birther skepticism and gift givers generosity. These things would sell like hotcakes.
Come on Obama - feed the homeless...
And he sure clammed up in a hurry. Did those issues "go away" too?
When contradictions exist, examine your premises.

You make a great point. Why didn't they stand by the first release if it was so authentic? They have been playing games with this since the campaign.
To quote Congressman West: "Why are you here?"
If the birther stuff is nonsense and the issues are the most important thing, why are YOU wasting an inordinate amount of time on these threads????
Why aren't you on the threads dealing with the 'issues' that you think are more important? But when I look at your posting history: Nope. You spend way too much time on threads you consider nonsense. You will not convince anyone to share your viewpoints on these threads, quite the contrary. You're just wasting bandwidth.
So....why are you here?
LOL! So you are trying use Occum's razor on birthers? Good luck with that!
What exactly are the contradictions? What are the premises you talk about?
The contradiction is that Bamie BC II is much more obviously fraudulent than Bamie BC I. But now Trump isn't talking at all.

I’m not buying the kerning thing. I googled “type written pages” and pulled up fotos of bunches of them. There are many examples of the overlapped “kerning” in them that isn’t supposed to be. It’s a curiosity, not concrete evidence.
I agree that if Trump does not stand by his expresions of concern for this Nation and does not question the validity of the Obama presented bc, he presents a contradiction which will be difficult for many people to rationalize.
Has anyone zoomed in on the Nordyke BC and checked the same letters?
We oldsters (assuming you also fall into that category) remember how the FBI and intelligence agencies had huge numbers of experts engaged in typewriter analysis and could ID a specific typewriter used to create a document with fingerprint levels of certainty.
Ultimately, I expect that a typewriter ID expert will eventually opine, perhaps in court, on whether another BC from HI in 1961 introduced in evidence matches or does not match the “fingerprint” of the typewritten text on the Obama BC.
One analyst has already pointed out the the font for the "&" doesn't match between the Nordyke and Obama BCs so no chance they were done on the same typewriter...
Because, quite simply, responsible conservatives have a duty to call out idiocy and lunacy on their own side. This birther stuff started as a marginally silly issue and has morphed into downright stupidity.
It is important that responsible conservatives make it clear that this birther nonsense is fringe babble and not representative of Republican and conservative thinking. For the most part prominent conservatives are doing exactly that. There is a good reason why Hannity, Levin, Coulter, Malkin, Beck, etc, etc, etc will have nothing to do with this ridiculous conspiracy theory. Courts will continue tossing these eligibility claims out as garbage and prominent Republican/conservative politicians will have nothing to do with it.
What you are pushing is not conservative, it's hack conspiracies that make anyone associated with them look batty.
I don't know who you are supporting right now. I am hoping Palin gets in myself. Whoever your candidate of choice is the one thing you can count on that person NOT talking about is birther conspiracy theories. Hussein will be defeated on economic issues. Period. The economy will drive this election and our candidates need to focus almost entirely on that.
