I can't watch the video right now, but my theory is that with his stories of his daughters’ homework and eating peas he is trying to be folksy and down to earth. but it doesn't work for me - he seems insincere. (Understatement, I know.) I think we saw the real Obama when he trashed people who are bitter and cling to guns and religion.

Ummm, what was he doing with the remote control at 1:10 in the video? I can’t see Obongo doing that. He has Reggie, Michael Signator and others do that for him. He’s definitely a catcher.
