Palin. (Scales Fall from Red State Eyes)

It’s been almost three years since I, along with many others, was introduced to Governor Sarah Palin. In that time we have been saturated with coverage of her and just about everybody on the left and the right, has had the opportunity to get to know who she is and what they think of her.

At least that’s what I thought.

I thought she hadn’t gotten a fair shake in the media, but I felt confident that I could see through the bias and that I understood who she was, what she had done and what my opinion would probably be about her going forward.

I was entirely incorrect.

I pride myself on my ability to know when something is baloney, almost instinctively. On Sarah Palin, I was so incredibly hoodwinked that the one word that my wife and I agreed described how we felt after watching it, was shame. Yes of course invigoration, satisfaction and all the other things you experience when watching a good film, but about how we had handled our vetting of Mrs. Palin, shame was the word that best described it.

Shame for not bothering to look up her record. Shame for not reading her story. Shame for turning the channel when she came on the tv. Shame for not listening to people that we had a great deal of respect for like Andrew Breitbart, Tammy Bruce, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity.

As Breitbart points out in the film, the greatest shame is that while this woman was savaged to degrees you may not even realize yet, some of us sat back and let it happen.

You know, we (as a country) used to recognize them (Marxist/communists) as the enemy and fight actual wars against them.

Point well taken, but how do we account for those people of good will who do get deceived? Why them and not us? We both have access to the same flow of data. What makes the difference?

I understand the intrinsic hatred for Palin by the Left, but the systemic ignorance depicted by Howe is simply astonishing especially where it involves Sarah’s fellow Alaskans.

DUh. There is a simple litmus test for people in the public eye.

IF big media likes someone, the person is a crazed liberal piece of sh!t. If they demonize them night and day, they are upstanding, conservative citizens that love and support America.

We just don't feed them, the prison collective farm does, and they work on the farm. If they make their quota, they get to eat some, if not, well......

the local chamber of commerce can set the quota, after listening to any complaints from the convicts.

You’re right. People should turn off their t.v. I turned off my t.v. set over a month ago and I haven’t missed it one bit. Now, I’m thinking about getting rid of the programming subscription and save some money there too. I get my news from alternative media on the Internet. I recommend people try turning off their t.v. at least for a short time. I bet they won’t miss it either.

I started to compose insults directed at FR PDSers and decided it just wasn’t worth my time.

I simply want Sarah Palin to become our next ‘real’ President. I simply want our country back and I want this nightmare to finally end.

True. A law of diminishing returns applies. Beating back misinformation and disinformation is one thing. But spending forever trying to disentangle an entrenched PDSer from their delusional thinking is a waste of perfectly good and billable time.
