  • Exclusive: SarahPAC Sends "Undefeated" to Singapore Ambassador Behind "Game Change" Screening

Earlier this month, the U.S. Embassy in Singapore held a screening of HBO's hyper-partisan, poorly sourced "Game Change" feature as a way to show how the American electoral process works. SarahPAC, former Gov. Sarah Palin's political action committee, decided to provide the Embassy and its staffers with a more instructive, and factual, example of democracy in action. The organization has sent a letter to Ambassador David Adelman, along with a screener of the Palin documentary "The Undefeated." "The Undefeated," the letter says, includes people speaking on the record about a maverick politician who helped changed the way her state ran.

If you shut up truth and bury it under the ground, it will but grow, and gather to itself such explosive power that the day it bursts through it will blow up everything in its way. – Emile Zola I live in San Francisco – ground zero for liberal America. You would think that changing minds here about Sarah Palin would be more difficult than getting Nancy Pelosi to tell the truth. But as I recently found out, the light of truth does have the power to disperse the darkness of lies, even in Nancy Pelosi’s San Francisco. Sunday night...

Over the weekend, HBO ran "Game Change," the film documenting the McCain campaign decision to put Sarah Palin on the ticket in the 2008 election. Opposite of this was the film "The Undefeated," a pro-Palin documentary trumpeting her accomplishments. Watching both, you'd think they were talking about two completely different people. "Game Change" was based upon a book about the 2008 election by John Heilemann and Mark Halperin, published two years ago. It shows ex-Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as an earnest, warm character, even sympathetic in many respects. It also showed that she was way over her head, lacking basic...

Now, viewers can see why Palin became both a successful governor and the toast of the Tea Party movement. "The Undefeated," director Stephen Bannon's look at the dramatic rise of the former Wasilla, Ala. mayor, makes its broadcast premiere at 8 p.m. tonight on ReelzChannel. The film will be replayed at 11 p.m. EST.

"The Undefeated," a documentary about former Alaskan governor and vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin drawn from her memoir, "Going Rogue: An American Life," seems to have been made as a piece of political promotion for the 2012 presidential race. But before "The Undefeated" premiered in a tiny number of theaters, Palin announced that she would not run. The film did not do well, either financially or critically. Now it has found a secondary purpose — running on Reelz Channel as an answer to the much-touted HBO film "Game Change." Where "Game Change" portrays Palin as a woman professionally unqualified and personally...

"The Undefeated," which chronicles the former Alaska governor's career, will premiere March 11 -- one night after HBO shows the film "Game Change," which sees Julianne Moore portray Palin during her run as vice president in 2008. Coincidentally, on the day New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie held a formal press conference to again announce that he would not officially enter the presidential contest, DVDs of a documentary titled The Undefeated, an independent film about former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s record of reform in taking on the crony capitalists and the political establishment in Alaska, went on sale at Walmart stores and online outlets such as Amazon.com. A couple of months ago Stephen Bannon, the director of “Fire from the Heartland”, called and said, “I’m working on a top secret film and I want you in it.” “I’m there.” Two weeks ago, I got to see the rough cut of that film, Sarah Palin “Undefeated”. It’s a cerebral look at Who and What is Sarah Palin. From the Valdez oil spill, to the Wasilla Mayor’s office, to the state oil industry, and through an incumbent Republican towards the Governorship; Palin’s record speaks for itself. And I am honored to be apart of the film. But, I will...

The Undefeated, the Sarah Palin documentary, isn't what you'd call a summer blockbuster. In fact, the sympathetic biography flopped in theaters, grossing only $175,000 at the box office. In Iowa, where the former Alaska governor and 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee seems to be laying the groundwork for a presidential bid, just a few have seen it. Iowa Palin organizer Peter Singleton puts the number of screenings at "dozens," but "less than 100." And, adds Singleton, only a "handful of people" have attended each showing. For anybody else, that would spell disaster. If Tim Pawlenty ended his presidential hopes after...

"The Undefeated" could be considered an interesting title for a film about Sarah Palin, a woman who lost the 2008 presidential campaign as Sen. John McCain's running mate. To filmmaker and Laguna Beach resident Stephen K. Bannon, the title is far from ironic. "The reason I wanted to make it was that I was tired of people on Wall Street and in Washington calling her 'Caribou Barbie'," he said. Mostly focusing on Palin's political career in Alaska, "The Undefeated" portrays a crusader clashing with the governing GOP establishment and big-oil interests -- fights that earned her the highest approval rating of any governor in the country at the time. Of course we all know "The Undefeated" is really about the future. Of Palin's political prospects in 2012, sure. But more important, said the documentary's director, Steven Bannon, the film allows Palin to redefine herself. "The meme was so set...

If you happened to hear something in the press this week about the new documentary “The Undefeated,” chances are it was negative. Maybe you even heard that director Stephen K. Bannon’s glowing account of Sarah Palin’s political ascent was a big box office flop. And if you did, maybe what you heard was negative spin motivated by anti-Palin bias. The biographical documentary hit theaters last weekend to scathing reviews and a press that seemed all-too-eager to bury it. Still, it managed to sell out several showings en route to a $6,500 per screen across 10 theaters and is set to...

Despite reports to the contrary, the Sarah Palin movie The Undefeated did not play to empty houses on its first weekend out in North America. According to Box Office Mojo, The Undefeated brought in $65,132 at 10 locations over the weekend of July 15-17; the Stephen K. Bannon-directed film's per-theater average was a so-so $6,513. So, "so-so" may not mean "packed houses" or "boffo" (in icky Variety slang), but non-existent patrons bring in no revenue. The claim that The Undefeated was playing to empty houses became "fact" following a report by The Atlantic's Conor Friedersdorf, who described his experience sitting...

Sarah Palin documentary “The Undefeated” opened in 10 theaters this weekend and its performance was definitely the second most discussed topic among box office pundits yesterday (clearly, “Harry Potter” smashing every conceivable record was #1). indieWIRE‘s own box office column suggested the performance was “respectable” but “unspectacular,” despite press releases that lauded the film’s numbers. One press release began: ARC Entertainment Announces Strong Opening for “The Undefeated,” with multiple sold-out runs and vocal audience support. “What would have taken months and cost millions, ARC did in weeks with virtually no traditional media advertising” Wider national rollout to commence in the...

Over the weekend, everyone waited to hear the box office results of the new documentary film “The Undefeated,” and for good reason. Those of us interested in truth are understandably invested in seeing anything succeed that finally sets the record straight about Governor Sarah Palin and those on the Left, along with their corrupt MSM allies, would love to dance on the grave of anything that exposes the lies they’ve told about the Governor over the last three years. The good news (for truth-seekers) is that with almost no paid advertising, the film opened very well and is expanding its...

Victory Film Group’s The Undefeated opened on Friday July 15, 2011 and ended up having an average gross of $6570 per theater. If that wasn’t enough to...

It’s been almost three years since I, along with many others, was introduced to Governor Sarah Palin. In that time we have been saturated with coverage of her and just about everybody on the left and the right, has had the opportunity to get to know who she is and what they think of her. At least that’s what I thought. (snip) I thought she hadn’t gotten a fair shake in the media, but I felt confident that I could see through the bias and that I understood who she was, what she had done and what my opinion would...
