President Obama’s half-uncle, Onyango Obama, an illegal immigrant recently arrested for drunk driving in Massachusetts, will apparently not face deportation. Like the President’s illegal immigrant aunt, Zeituni Polly Onyango, he will be granted asylum as a “political refugee.”
“Let’s face it, Kenya is a hell-hole unfit for normal human beings,” said U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano. “It would be inhumane for us to forcibly send him back to such an awful place.”
Napolitano denied that Onyango’s relationship to the President played any role in the decision. “If I may remind everyone, the President has declared that illegal immigrants from Mexico don’t have to go back,” the Secretary said. “And Mexico isn’t nearly as bad as Kenya is. So, it should be obvious that nepotistic favoritism was not the decisive factor in this case.”

Just cause Kenya is a hellhole doesn’t qualify: we simply can’t accommodate all the people of this hellhole as well as other hellholes.
Only should allow someone in if there is sufficient proof that the candidate is someone who has some faculty to improve the overall makeup of this country’s workers.
Being a drunk and endangering others is certainly not the faculty that should qualify him.

Obama’s auntie also got refugee status after living here illegally for decades. I assume both Uncle and Auntie are from Kenya which is nominally a democracy so why the refugee status? To my knowledge they are not in danger of death or imprisonment if they return to Kenya so they can’t be political refugees. If refugee status can be granted for “economic refugees” seeking escape from poor economic conditions in their home country every illegal in the US could claim to be a refugee. I’m sure their nephew being POTUS had more than a little to do with this granting of refuigee status.
Yeah uncle will get no special treatment. If “Let’s face it, Kenya is a hell-hole unfit for normal human beings,” if she admires that statement so much, is Team Obama planning to relocate Obama’s entire family and friends to the U.S. ? Or does Obama prefer that they first get arrested or drive drunk and threaten to call the white house ?
