"If I were Palin, I’d sue your goatsmelling ass off...."

And what about Glen Rice - shouldn't his statements be considrered libel/slander? - isn't it against the law to publicly accuse someone without proof?

McGinness appears to have managed to get his children and grand-children subjected to a substantial amount of abusive language.

Which, of course, he relishes.

Not everybody wants their kids subjected to that sort of thing. They weren't even able to go outside to play in Alaska last Summer.

I have yet to see an actual quote from him. But, yes, if he is saying it and it is untrue (which I pray) he should be sued

That's the thing: Rice didn't make any such statements.

You'd have to read the book to find out exactly how this lie is framed, and of course neither of us are going to do that.

Fortunately the NYT already took that bullet for us: it seems that McGinnis reported his own salacious questions, not Rice's answers.

Example: imagine that I asked Palin's father "what it's like to catch your daughter shoplifting?". And then I reported the question - not the answer - in my trashy book.

Liberalism is more toxic and hateful than we can imagine.

In a slander or libel suit, I believe that the burden of proof is on the plaintiff to prove the defendant lied willfully. In cases such as this, a lawsuit is almost impossible to win, and does nothing more than give an opportunity for the MSM to publicize the libel/slander.

Not a good idea. Sorry.

Don't forget, a similar A-Hole tried these same tactics with Nikkie Haley when she ran (and won) for governor of S.C.

Such creeps are scum bottom feeders of the first order.

Yet the LSM and such religiously ignore Larry Sinclair's allegations about him and Obama.
