Jewish MP threatened by Muslims in London

British MP Mike Freer was threatened by 'peaceful' Muslims on Friday as he tried to meet constituents in a North Finchley mosque.

Mr Freer said about 12 people forced their way inside, with one of them calling him a "Jewish homosexual pig".

The trouble began after messages on the Muslims Against Crusades website urged supporters to target him, he said.

Mr Freer said a message posted ahead of the incident on the group's website made reference to Labour MP Stephen Timms, who was stabbed while holding a surgery in east London last year.

They need to do a little more hand wringing about where it all went wrong, and make further conciliatory ovetures to bridge the cultural gap. That's all.

I used to live in Britain, and it makes me almost physically ill when I read stories like this.

Freer is not a Jew.

However, he is openly homo and lives with his civil partner, Angelo Crolla.

The Brits don’t need to go to Hell, they’ve created it on their little island nation. They sold themselves on multi-culturalism, imported hundreds of thousands of openly hostile, non-assimilating Muslims, lowered their national birthrate while the Muslims have increased theirs and then they dis-armed themselves. Short of hacking their own heads off there isn’t anything more I can think of for the British people to do to eliminate themselves and their culture. Scary. Scary and sad.

I can only feel disgust with political leaders who still proclaim that Islam is a ROP.

If they want to get their throats cut, more power to them. But they should not jeopardize the lives of their constituents.

Freer is a member of Conservative Friends of Israel (CFI). Although he is not a Jew, The Jewish Chronicle, in its list of 100 most powerful influences on the Jewish community, named Freer 99th, not least because of his membership of CFI and his chairmanship of the Barnet multi-faith forum.
