I agree, Newt is one untrustworthy lying ba$tard.

I see the wheels always moving, always calculating. “IF I say this to this audience, how many points will it move me up with them, and how many points down with another group?”

He has no core of beliefs and no integrity. He's just a shrewd conman, always calculating the angles and the benefits to his own rise in power.

My biggest issue with Gingrich has not been his political philosophy but his character. He lacks integrity.

If you have you know that a cheater doesn't just tell one little white lie. In order to cover their trail of deceit, they have to become serial black liars.

Ibama is a big lier. As far as I know he isn’t cheating on what’s her face.
Whoever replaces Ibama I hope they lie about keeping welfare and medicaid as is. I hope they lie about extending never ending unemployment, and massive spending without any relevent cuts, keeping the Department of Ed and Enviro..and then do the opposite!
Haha

>> And at least one of them was deathly ill, if not both of them.<<

When the writer includes a proven lie should one assume that the rest of the article should be taken with a grain of salt?

Since when has constantly changing your opinion for political gain and expediency been called “integrity”....not sure Romney qualifies.

Everyone is welcome to use whatever criteria they see fit in order to cast their vote, but for me, a divorced and remarried person, the issue of whom he did or didn’t stay married to is not germane. There are many reasons why marriages fail and I am not in the position, nor are any of you, to judge that dynamic. Perhaps his first wife picked him from out of the cradle in a statuatory rape sort of way. Perhaps his second wife withheld sex after being married and told him she was only in it for the money? We simply don’t know. However, we do know this country is careening toward a financial meltdown of Biblical proportions unless someone can come in and quickly, with no learning curve, slow the momentum. Who you gonna call?

My problem with all the Republican candidates is that they are serial sinners. They do it everyday and repeatedly. We need a candidate like the Democrats found - the Messianic type who has not and will not sin. No adultery, no lying at all, no judging of others, no stealing, no envy, no boasting. Wake me up when this type of person announces. Nothing less will get my vote.

I wonder what our history would've been like without the following modern presidents who cheated?

Roosevelt

Eisenhower

Kennedy

Johnson

Clinton

Would we have been better off with replications of Nixon, Carter, Obama, who did not cheat?

I think bedroom morals is probably among the poorest of all standards to apply in picking a commander-in-chief.

Looking for purity in politics is like looking for a sheep in the middle of a wolf pack.

” But any of the candidates running are better than Newt Gingrich. Even a hard core RINO like Romney, and a first class nut job like Ron Paul.”

Could have saved us the preaching by just posting that at the beginning.

Nice to know that with the serious problems we face, some people have time to dwell on this.

Oh, good grief! I’m not a Newt fan, but this is over the top even for me.

First, Newt is running for prez, not husband.

And, to compare Newt’s marital infidelities with what Sandusky did? Really? That is disgusting.

How disgusting to compare infidelity to child rape!!!!

It is not my prerogative forgive Newt - his daughters have.

Newt has blamed himself for his marital infidelity and has not criticized his ex-wives for any failure(s)-(both of whom are still alive).

Considering that Newt was an immature 16 year-old when his teacher began a relationship with him - was not a good beginning for any young man. Married at 19 he did, however, help raise two wonderful daughters.

I believe there are men who consciously seek sexual excitement outside of marriage and deceitfully maintain a facade of fidelity. Others, accidentally find partners at work that evolve - against all their guilt - into serious relationships.

From experience; I have nothing but disgust for ‘the other women’ who participate in sexual dalliences with married men - when small children are at risk to lose a two-parent family as a result.

Polygamy ‘without vows’ is a pandemic in America - more people shack up with multiple partners - have children with multiple partners and ‘break no vows’. Convenient, less messy, avoids divorce lawyers and public scrutiny.

***How many of you have lived through the experience of an unfaithful spouse? ***

As was said about Grover Cleveland and his out of wedlock child....”MA, MA, WHERE’S MY PA!”

After he was elected the response was...”GONE TO THE WHITE HOUSE, HA,HA,HA!”

Ron Paul has integrity, as does Romney.

Newt gingrich is worse than a serial child molester

The memo specifically stated that you should get a handle that has 'conservative' in it, join FR to spread the hate, but most importantly, it stated to wait until after the first primary.

In your zeal, you jumped the gun, blew your cover, and lessened the impact on primary voters.

I can forgive, but I am not about to hand him the levers of power when there are still other choices. I would -- as a last resort -- vote for him over Obama; because they are both liars. But any of the candidates running are better than Newt Gingrich. Even a hard core RINO like Romney, and a first class nut job like Ron Paul. At least they have some integrity.

Well said!

People who cheat on spouses like Newt are not immoral, they are amoral. And they do not recover from that kind of selfishness; they simply learn how to talk and convince others they have changed.
