If the GOP slugs, who are currently seeking the nomination, or the DemocRATS, in November, try to use this against Santorum, it will backfire on them; big friggin’ time.
If mac daddy was walking down the street and a little girl blocked his way and he pushed her into the street and she was run over and killed by a car colmes would blame the girl for being in mac daddies way.
While I do watch Fox news, whenever he is on I change the station until he is finished spewing his garbage.
I’ve ALWAYS thought that Mary Matalin was attracted to Carville because he plays the dirty, rotten game of politics so brilliantly. Remember, she worked with Lee Atwater who - may he rest in peace - was also a genius at the game. The GOP hasn’t had anyone like him since (tho from what I hear out of IA maybe Romney’s SuperPAC found Atater’s successor in slime).

Santorum told the TRUE story on Hannity last night. Yes; it is heart-wrenching. Colmes replacing the truth, i.e., “held the baby” and “funeral at home”, with “played with” shows the evil that’s in his heart. Allegedly, he apologized to the Santorums, but that’s too little and too late. That bell can’t be un-rung and the damage was done. I’m scared of a person whose pointy little head could even conceive of such a horrendous statement.
Back in the 40’s my uncle was laid out at home. It use to be done all the time. Family and friends came to the house to offer condolences...I was about 4 and still remember it...even to the flowers around the casket...Idon’t think there were too many funeral homes back in those days, and it was common practice to have home funerals...
Colmes also maintained that Trig Palin’s mother was Bristol not the governor and that Palin had not business taking a plane trip during her pregnancy. Apparently, like Andrew Sullivan, the obnoxious Colmes is also an ob/gyn. Colmese is as low as it gets. Having said that, I don’t know if bringing the baby home was appropriate but that is a private matter.
This isn’t easy to discuss but when my mom died I just wanted to get out of the room.
We all mourn differently and more the reason why colmes should have kept his fat, mean-spirited, arrogant, condescending mouth shut. If you want to hear the real colmes, turn on to wwrl 1600, he may still have his radio show... he’s nothing like he was when he was on hannity, he shows his true colors on his radio show.
I have had women say goodbye to their stillborn child, even at 20 weeks.
But usually we send the child to the undertaker before we let the other children see him or her to say goodbye.
The problem is that if the child is this premature, it might end up in the incinerator before mom recovers from anesthesia...I’ve had this happen to one patient of mine, who years later was still upset that she hadn’t been given a chance to say goodbye to her child.
This is why I once insisted that an unwed mom say goodbye to her deformed premature stillborn, when up to the time of delivery she insisted she wasn’t pregnant. I wrapped the child to hide the deformities (meningomyelocoel) and let her and the family cry over the child.
Indeed, even abortionists allow their patients do this when the child is aborted for malformations/retardation. (but not when the child is unwanted and mom is in denial it is a baby).
It allows closure.
Colmes is a mentally deranged creep. Monica Crowley should be ashamed for having introduced him to her sister. Children, especially dead infants, are off limits.
...and the reason that Colmes is a miserable fourth-rate talk show guy on a low rated show and Santorum has a chance to be POTUS or Veep either 1 year or 5 years from now. Go Rick! Have donated to *each* of his campaigns, including the now current one, on Thursday!
