The Mental Derangement of Ron Paul’s Campaign
Red State ^

Posted on 01/08/2012 4:44:27 PM PST by mnehring

Supporters of Ron Paul produced a hit job on Jon Huntsman attacking Huntsman over his adopted daughter. His daughter, ftom China, was left for dead in a market and the Huntsmans intervened, got her back to good health, and adopted her.

Someone put up a video attacking Huntsman adoption as proof that Huntsman is a foreign agent.

The video began circulating among Ron Paul supporters and when Huntsman called them out, the Ron Paul campaign swung into high gear and produced a report that I can only venture to suspect was written by someone hopped up on gardasil, having acquired the mental retardation Michele Bachmann warned us about.

The Ron Paul campaign — NOT SUPPORTERS, BUT CAMPAIGN — analysis concludes that Jon Huntsman attacked his own daughter in an attempt to smear Ron Paul.

Yes, friends, it has come to that level of dain bramage.

While the media is licking its chops over the he said – he said of the Ron Paul “analysis” I should note that ridicule of the families of the other candidates is par for the course for Ron Paul supporters.

Here’s a Paul supporter on Ron Paul’s wall on Facebook ridiculing Rick Santorum’s family:

The Paul campaign could have had the common decency to just say it was a supporter and condemn the attack on Jon Huntsman and his daughter.

But the Paul campaign seems only willing to condemn black people, Jews, and gays. Everyone else is fair game, including the children of other Presidential candidates.

What’s even more disturbing though is the Politico and other news outlets treating the Ron Paul defense as legitimate and questioning the Huntsman campaign. That’s not something the media even did to John McCain in 2000 with the awful attacks on him in South Carolina.

Pitiful all around.

Sorry, but the facts do not bear out your accusations. Try composing and expressing an original thought. And then try backing it up with some facts.

“The guy is a dangerous nut.”

One who has no particular loyalty to the United States of America,to our traditions, values and the Supreme law of our land, the U.S. Constitutions, might believe as you do.

You,of course, are free to believe whatever propaganda suits your taste, whether or not it is grounded in fact.

Do you respect our Constitutional government or do you want to ride along with those who would destroy your liberty and the protection of your God given rights as a human being?

No,he has been misrepresented many times, such as your contention that he endorsed Cynthia McKinney. That’s absurd. He did endorse Reverend Chuck Baldwin for President during the last Presidential election cycle.

So that is an example of a misrepresentation of one of his positions that you promulgated here.

Apparently a few unappealing characters have liked him. So what? He has no control over that. Maybe we should launch a digging party about all of the Republican candidates donors. Think there will be any just as if not more objectionable?

Hey,you either want to be free and prosperous or you want economic and social slavery. Decide. The choice is clear.

Further,start telling the truth.

While this Redstate might make some valid points, I’d say that all of us need to keep in mind that the enemy is Obama. It costs us nothing to be nice to the often youthful Paul supporters. In the long run, we want Paulites to support the R nominee. We want to try to bring everyone together, as much as possible.

It is Sarah Palin who said just a few nights ago that we, as Republicans, could pay a price if we dismiss or dis the Ron Paul supporters.

WASHINGTON (CNN) 11/2008– Texas Republican Rep. Ron Paul will call on supporters to back a third party candidate for president Wednesday, rejecting his own party’s nominee and offering equally harsh words for the Democratic candidate.
Paul, who unsuccessfully sought the Republican presidential nomination, will tell supporters he is not endorsing GOP nominee John McCain or Democratic nominee Barack Obama, and will instead give his seal of approval to: Green Party nominee Cynthia McKinney

Boston Globe on September 10, 2008:

Former presidential candidate Ron Paul urged his supporters today to vote for a minor-party candidate, saying that he had rejected a last-minute appeal from Republican John McCain for his endorsement.

The Texas congressman cultivated a loyal following and raised sizable amounts of campaign cash online during the Republican primaries.

At a news conference in Washington he appeared with Green Party candidate Cynthia McKinney, the former Georgia congresswoman.

Daily Caller 11/2008: Paul rejected the McCain/Palin ticket, instead embracing Cynthia McKinney

Enough references for you.......

Interesting you only picked out the McKinney reference and ignored all the others, does that mean you agree? Just wondering.

As Bill Engvall would say to Ron Paul supporters: Heeeere's your sign:

Projecting much. None of those things came up. I just represent Paul’s own words and don’t buy his own backpedaling when he denies he said or wrote it. Sorry, your name is to it for two decades, you made a million a year from it, you own it. His early career in the 80s and 90s were based a lot on these writings. They defined who he was to his fans. You don’t get to pick and choose what was under your name saying ‘well, if it was good, I wrote it, if it were one of the “eight or ten controversial sentences” that make me look bad, I didn’t’. You don’t get to ignore you admitted to writing them in 92 & 93 on national television (CSPAN) and to the Houston Chronicle and Dallas Morning News, then ignore you never said them.

That is his history, along with the lying about his ‘perfect’ record in congress- he is a fraud. Plain and simple.

I’ve followed the old tool since the early 90s when I lived in his district, I know a lot more about him and his circle than I’ve even mentioned here. You really don’t want to go there. I’ve stuck to the big stuff from the major sources, but if the merry band of paultards really wants to go there and claim ‘misrepresentation’ I may pull out the dusty old box of info. Ever hear of Nadia Hayes?

Hey, you forgot old Ralphy Nader. He was party of the loony trio Paul endorsed. He tried to throw Bob Barr into that mix and Barr would have none of it, calling it a joke and a spectacle.

Just to drive the tards nuts.

Of course, I'm sure the excuse is, this never happened. This was a 'ghost actor' and not really Paul.

Now you and all the other paulbots know the surrender monkey endorsed Cynthia McKinney. You are just not programed to think for yourselves or accept the truth.

Further,start telling the truth.

Maybe you and the rest of Cut and Run's surrender monkeys should take your advice.

On Election Day scores of Lawyers, and Accountants raided the Ron Paul for President Campaign Headquarters and closed down the campaign operation. Campaign Manager Nadia Hayes was arrested by the Nassau Bay, TX Police Department and later convicted for embezzlement of roughly $140,000.

American Libertarian magazine November 1988 described the situation: "a bizarre twist tough-talking campaign manager Nadia Hayes was sacked the day before the election. And the much awaited last minute campaign media blitz largely failed to materialize. Paul campaign chair Burt Blumert and Paul campaign ghostwriter and direct mail fundraiser Lew Rockwell showed up... unannounced and unexpected (at HQ). Staff were told that they should leave... locksmiths turned up late in the day to change the locks on the office doors....

...Several had been booted from the Libertarian Party in 1989. They were on the receiving end of a mini-purge largely resulting from the scandal-ridden '88 effort..."
