Hey, friends.
I have a 7-year-old adopted daughter who is medically fragile with a host of health problems. She developed massive bleeding in her gastrointestinal tract earlier today. She's undergone multiple transfusions so far and is in surgery right now to find the source of the bleeding.
Jasmine has always been a fighter. And I know that no matter what the outcome is, she has always been safe and secure in the hands of God.
Would you all just lift our little Jasmine up in your prayers tonight? I simply ask you to pray that God's perfect will be done- nothing more, nothing less. Thank you all for your prayerful support of this amazing little girl.
I will let you know the outcome as soon as possible.
God's blessing and grace be with you tonight in Jesus' matchless Name.

Thank you so much for the update. Thank you God. Will continue to pray for her.
That’s fantastic news, Gunner! I’m so happy for Jasmine that she seems to be doing a little better. I’m praying for that move from ICU as I know what you mean about getting no real rest in there... You are wonderful parents for opening up your hearts to this little girl despite her medical difficulties (I am an adoptee myself). May God bless you all richly. Looking forward to hearing more good news as I keep praying! :)
Thanks for your prayers, all.
Jazzie has taken a bit of a downturn. She needs hi-flow oxygen to keep her levels above 91 percent now. She's very uncomfortable and really, really done with the whole hospital thing. Her hematocrit dropped to 24% from 31%, but improved somewhat to 29%.
Still no answers about the source or site of the bleeding.
If Jazzie begins to actively bleed, they'll do the blood marker test to find the source. They can't find it unless she is actively bleeding. At this point, we are conflicted between being grateful that her bleeding is very slow, and wishing that she would bleed a little more so we could find the site. It's very maddening.
Well, I have to turn in. I have to work in the ER tomorrow. Thanks for your continued prayers!

Oh my Gunner. I have been offline most of the weekend, but am so thankful for the ping.
Will continue sending prayers up. For strength for your little one, and for you all, and for wisdom and guidance for her medical team, that they might find the source SOON, and FIX it.
Heavenly Father, please hold them all in your loving embrace.
