Mitt Romney has stopped the bleeding and Newt Gingrich appears to have lost some momentum from his South Carolina primary victory. Both men can take something from this latest poll to come out of the Sunshine state which shows the candidates tied at 35% each. Rick Santorum came in a distant third with 9% and Ron Paul scored 8% in the Dixie Strategies/First Coast News survey

In Florida, a vote for Newt is a vote against Mitt, and for We the People. Mitt and the GOP establishment must be stopped. If you are on Twitter, appeal to Santorum and Paul voters.
Santorum may believe that Gingrich will melt-down, leaving him as the last remaining “anti-Romney”.
Exactly. Like letting a failed company go bankrupt rather prop up with bailouts. Weigh our principles; is it better to support a man with no character and the GOP establishment or let them fail and try to remove Obama while in second term through impeachment or demands of the people he step down? You know if Obama has a second term he will be twice as radical.
I don’t believe these wildly-swinging polls. I’m thinking the reason the polls are now showing Newt ahead is because they want to retain some credibility when Newt wins.
I was saying what to do if Romney is our nominee.. I believe Newt is going to win Fla.
Offer Santorum Health and Human Services in the cabinet, not VP.
Newt would benefit from asking someone like Allen West or Susanna Martinez.
I’m doing same, chris: living in a NO FAUX ZONE.
Besides not having to listen to any “F and B” token Demorats spew their talking points, it’s really refreshing to not have to watch the pig in a zipline commercial, Jos. A. Bank or the lib water one that ends with an Asian woman on a computer saying “I’ve got a great idea”.
I think the Gingrich folks are keeping their cards close to their chest. It’s gonna be a landslide for Newt!!
I wanna see adam’s apple Annie go postal.
That back pain pill popping weasel Joe Scarborough was more likely the guy who outed Hume and Paxton but there has been lots of speculation tossed Newts direction given FOXs stilted coverage of Newt
Did Newt Gingrich Out Brit Humes Dead Gay Son?
.
Looking good!
Yeah, for Romney.
.
The recent Tea Party surge for Newt might be exactly the thing that swings it for Newt. The MSM is not nearly as dominant in Florida anymore. Computer news has taken the stage.
Romney is nothing more than a liar and a phony. He can’t hide that in his behavior and body language. It is all too obvious that Romney is not telling the truth about himself and that he is just not natural.
I can read him like a 3 dollar bill.
heh. I am enjoying the heck out of watch Man, Woman, Wild...and up soon...Dual Survival! Gimmie dat!
I can’t escape the pig on a zip line commercial though...it’s everywhere.
As far as Faux News goes though...pointless. Don’t care what they think. Could watch for months and still won’t care what they think about anything at all. I came to a conclusion in November 2008 that it is a pointless waste of time to watch any sort of news at all, unless it’s like breaking emergency weather news or something like that.
This 24 hour analysis garbage can take a flying leap.
If it’s a squeaker, then consider it a loss, as the results will be Frankenized
I think Santorum is angling to be Mitts VP. He might offset the anti-Mormon vote.
****************************
That is Soro’s suggestion for a Romney VP.
Mitty Boy is in dead heat in Fla. Must mean florida is about to be fisted by Mitt.
“Willard has stopped the bleeding.”? I wish Newt was “bleeding” as much.
The internals of this poll show it is five times bigger than any of the polls we have been allowed to see.
A 2500 respondent sample is very large for a state poll.
This suggests there is reason to believe Newt can still win.
Paray for him and America.
