You might want to try Kirks’ Castile soap. I first used it a long, long time ago - it washes hair, clothes, etc. Hair works better with rinsed with water and a dash or two of vinegar in it, if you have hard water.

I buy it by the case directly from Kirks, it seems to be slightly different (more like the kind from years ago) than what is in the store locally. I have enough for a long, long time.

Just do a quick search on Kirks. Now they have other stuff like liquid soap etc, but the bar kind is all I’ve ever used. They also have two kinds now, with fragrance and without. I much prefer without, even though the kind with is very non-offensive.

The EPA is monitoring farms, the NOAA is surveilling the oceans for illicit fishing, and the DOHS who knows what they are up to?

That's beside the point, because most suburbanites and urbanites with military training of any kind wouldn't rob or otherwise attack rural folks. But to entertain your argument, of those with "military training," a very small percentage specialized in small arms combat. The vast majority in our armed forces didn't do enough of that to make any personal difference in small arms combat. And many with prior light combat specialty service are no longer able bodied (which number I'll probably join before long...getting up in the years).

More to the point on "civil unrest," yes. A lot of social unrest would be possible in some areas during nationally immoral times, but I lived through a humdinger of a hurricane, too.

One difference in my case was that it destroyed the city in 1970 (before the counter-culture kids had much effect against our nation). Another is that people in that city were, on average, far more moral than many who sat through other notorious but less windy storms. Our city was leveled, and we rebuilt within a year.

I wouldn't want to be near the more corrupt cities during riots or to be dependent on government for income between now and the end of this debt debacle.

Valuable in usefulness or in terms of resale value? I'm not so impressed with fully automatic small rifle fire, myself, except for very rare circumstances for combat (combat) soldiers at war (urban, jungle, etc.).

Most rural folks know their home places well--every high spot and every low spot. And more of them are more accurate and quick with firearms than most others. Enormous numbers of hillbillies can knock squirrels out of trees or hit varmints, post haste. Some of them can do things that most "experts" say can't be done. I've worn that erroneous designation of "expert" but was also a hillbilly.

As for all the talk about "WROL," though there will be law, though, regardless of various possible disasters, and consequences for all who deserve them. If at some point in time or circumstances, we don't have enough revenues to support $100,000+ per year, pedigreed, local top cops, there will be moral men with leadership abilities and willing to do good work for less.

IMO, what's scariest for many, is that the current trend in easy money through more common corruption will eventually end. And tall, strong, healthy men will do real work (e.g., heavy manufacturing) for their living again, while having lots of kids.

Just terrible that we'll return to a paradigm more like the '50s, when father still knew best after thousands of years of wisdom. That's part of why the more commie political class kooks are getting more bizarre every day and more ostensibly showing their criminal nature: penis envy. More generally, too many of our fellow Americans are morally bankrupt.

Yeah. We're seeing a correction, but I'm not crying about it. Things will get better for decent Americans, after things get worse for most.

As for self-defense, there are many considerations other than those fixated on by most.

If we're tossed into another stone age by total expenditures in international nuclear exchanges, oh, well. Decades later, maybe there would only be a few old bolt action rifles and very old surplus ammo in the hands of a few agricultural men and women...and kung fu, of course. ;-)

Save and prepare for hard times, yes. But beyond doing what we can, whatever happens, happens. An unemployed school shot the back glass out of my vehicle on May 1st (May Day?), but I didn't sweat it. Didn't even know her beyond a brief and friendly introduction a long time ago, or have anything to do with her after that. People like me can fix something like that very easily and inexpensively. She's moving and was likely foreclosed.

All that matters is now and what little we can do for later. IMO, your chances are probably better there than mine are here. Weather here is a potential killer for sure (100+ mph winds in winter with with the lowest low at -35 F last winter, not much oxygen at this elevation and very dry in summer with no nearby services). ...multitudes of mountain lions and bears. Prairie dogs carry Plague and deer mice, Hantavirus). Temps down in the teens last night.

But I love the peace, quiet and tinkering (agriculture, energy systems, etc.) here enough to take those chances and endure the cold. We're not going to live forever, ya know.

it a plant based antibiotic......

it has the worst taste ..it's horrible but I was due to have a root canal and didn't want one..
I had read that if you put drops of this on the tooth it would clean it up so no rootcanal would be needed....

after 3 weeks of this I had an xray and my dentist said
I don't how this happened but your tooth looks much better
so i’m gonna continue and maybe I won't need a rootcanal...

I read it's also used for mrsa
anyways I'm buying extra for if tshtf

I’ve never been in a martial law situation - close, in the aftermaths of hurricanes, tornadoes and blizzards - but the LEOs I know up here, don’t seem to be that kind. I might be wrong in a SHTF or race riot situation, but they’re more concerned with their families’ safety/welfare than in taking-over the twps/ctys as mini-Hitlers. There are some pols here, who would readily do that, though.
