Conservative “expert” purists have to recognize people are voting AGAINST Obama not FOR Romney

The Drudge Report carries a picture of Mitt Romney jet skiing with his wife – “Oh no that’s it Barack Obama will cruise to reelection because all is lost!”

A few people, who we’ve heard of, have declared Romney’s campaign virtually dead because THEY don’t like his response to the two worst decisions from the Supreme Court.

These comments are, of course well meaning, but they remind us of the wide gap between grass roots activist TEA party conservative voters and conservative “leaders” who now want to run in front of the parade to appear to be relevant.

There is a huge surge of enthusiasm to get rid of Barack Obama that is happening in the streets and on conservative internet “meeting places” that will flush Barack Obama away in November. How can these “experts” not know this?

In my small but reliable poll 66% my overwhelmingly conservative readers said they were voting AGAINST Barack Obama and just 24% said they were voting FOR Mitt Romney! The large national polls won’t ask this question but that doesn’t alter the truth.

Our “expert” conservative leaders don’t yet understand that not only will conservative voters crawl through broken glass to vote against Obama, BUT more to the point, legions of Americans, especially White voters, who just desperately want Obama gone will see “ROMNEY” as the name on the toilet bowl handle that must be pulled down to flush away Barack Obama – America’s foulest mistake.

Over the past two years Obama’s nationally televised speeches have drawn fewer and fewer listeners. This is because Americans don’t care what he has to say, they want him gone.

Regardless of what he has done, Obama has not gotten ANY lasting “poll bounce” because Americans don’t care what he does, they want…..

Good luck with that one.

It's a better plan than electing a liberal and "holding his feet to the fire" -- since that has worked so well for us. Yes, impeaching Obama is the GOPe's "Plan B". I was hoping for an arrest, but that is less likely. The bill to impeach Obama is already in the works and gaining steam (click). If the GOPe can't get rid of him one way, they will go the other. They were willing to impeach Clinton for lying to Congress. Obama is in far hotter water than that. It's a safe bet. And a *FAR* better option than destroying all the progress made by the Tea Party by redefining conservatism in Romney's image. It's not luck that's needed ... it's understanding the GOPe strategy and using it to the best advantage possible.

“According to this small but reliable poll, then, 66% of conservative readers would vote for Hillary Clinton simply because she is “anything but Obama”. I’m not buying it. People can only squint so much. The actions of Mitt Romney go well beyond my ability to squint. Bush is far more conservative than McCain; McCain is far more conservative than Romney. Bush gave us Justice Roberts ... how far down the slippery slope are people willing to go before this “purity” argument grows tired?”

Ok, that’s nice.

Now give me a candidate that has a snowballs chance of beating Obama and I’ll vote for them.

Other than that, you are just blowing the same smoke out your rear as the rest of the “I hate Mitt” FR whiners.

You blew it during the primaries by trying to be cute with ditching candidates, now you all want to be some sort of power brokers?

The sad thing is, we had other options but the GOP made sure they dropped out, one by one. The government is no longer for the people & by the people, it's all run by money. Money is the driving factor be it repub or democrat, they all have their agenda & it's certainly NOT the people they're supposed to represent!

Our kids & grandkids will never know what a free election looked like.

“But how much would you like to see Obama impeached or arrested? Clinton only survived two years of his second term before impeachment proceedings. Obama has a lot less going for him than Clinton did. I’ll happily accept a few years of total gridlock with Biden in charge and making the democrats look like idiots while building the conservative influence over the republicans. I’d prefer that over allowing conservatism to be defined by a Romney presidency. Give me a real conservative president in 2016 rather than four more years of Romney.”

I bet there are some in Venezuela who are still waiting for the perfect conservative to beat Hugo Chavez.
Give Obama 4 years and he’ll make sure that millions of illegals will be able to vote, thus ensuring that Democrats will have a permanent majority.

I’ve been working on campaigns for more than twenty years, and I have never seen a major political candidate that was so hated, even by his own supporters, as Mitt Romney. It’s an astounding thing to observe.

The idea that such a person can defeat an incumbent president, even one as bad as Obama, is not very credible, to put it mildly. Elections are in the end won or lost on voter intensity, no matter how much money has been thrown at it.

But, even in the highly unlikely event that Romney does win, what have these folks who have sacrificed every principle of this free republic to support him won? All they’ve accomplished is to help install a man whose role will be little more than to consolidate the socialist gains of Barack Obama.

Shoot, even Jimmy Carter has said that he would be comfortable with Romney in the White House. There are very good reasons for that.

Throughout the primary, I agreed with you wholeheartedly but now, not quite so much. Please allow me to explain why.

Assuming that Romney is the eventual nominee, that is who we have as a viable alternative to Obama. He is not the conservative alternative and he is not the face or voice of conservatives and I don’t believe that anyone believes otherwise.

We failed to get a conservative so we are in a fall back position of removing Obama and then we must be better prepared in 2016.

If Romney is every bit as bad as Obama (and he could well be) at least when we criticize Romney, the worst that we’ll be called is religious bigot and that doesn’t have quite the sting of the other false charge of being racist and it will not be as effective.

I am voting to remove Obama, nothing else counts right now.

Fewer than 10% of Americans could actually articulate the Commerce Clause argument against Obamacare's constitutionality and probably even fewer could explain the tax versus penalty distinction. The MSM is grasping at straws. The point is Obamacare was upheld as a tax and Obama and his henchmen are again spinning and lying about it. Most people will get this point.

It doesn't matter what Mitt says. I never supported him for the nomination but now that it's Mitt or Obummer, I will choose Mitt, regardless.

Screw the Ruling Class aresewipes in D.C. I refuse to play their game like a manipulated pawn.

I’ll vote for Goode before I will vote against NerObama by voting Romney. Romney was the Ruling Class chosen nominee. The media and even Obama himself wanted Romney as the GOP nominee since this whole sickening fiasco of a so-called election process began.

And don’t hand me that crap that I’m voting for 4 more years of Obama by voting for the only Conservative running for the Presidency this November - that scare tactic doesn’t fly with me. In fact, it just pisses me off and shuts my ears to ANY argument and appeal to support Romney and by extension - anyone else running in the GOP. It just hardens my resolve.

It is understandable why so few would vote FOR Romney, but it is asinine to me to compromise principle and faith for the vain hope that voting for him will somehow save us from Obama or the consequences that will come for us all as a result of Obama being president in the first place.

I will not practice insanity any longer.

Everyone is putting their effort and hopes into getting rid of Obama by voting Romney as some salvation for us. When exactly did Conservatives accept the idea of monarchy that they too see that the solution is to engage in it?

At best the Marxists will steal this election like they do in Crook County, at worst - the fix is already determined and decided with the Ruling Class all willing accomplices.

I know what time it is - apparently the majority refuses to let their minds even consider it. While the bulk of Americans will favor cognitive dissonance - I will do what is right for my principles and my faith - for which I am held accountable by the Supreme Governor of the Universe.

What that means is, I don’t accept the premise that voting for the Conservative is treason. I have a higher Authority to report to for what I do.

I believe we are over our 1000'th day without the Senate passing a budget. At one point the conservatives in Congress were ready to shut down the government to get a budget passed. A handful of genuine conservatives were trying to hold that line. Remember Boehner telling them to get their asses in line? Eventually they did. And here we are past 1000. If they can't hold their own against Obama and the Senate (democrat leadership), you can not reasonable expect them to hold their own against one who presumes to be, who was elected as, one of their own. There is not even a faint possibility that "holding his feet to the fire" will be a successfully strategy. The alternative is not suicide ... the alternative is to throw the tea in the harbor. It's worked before. The Republican Party was born of no less initiative.

Romney will form a working coalition with a reacharound to the Democrats and the remaining RINOs. Conservatives have no seat at any table with either Romney, Obama, or Rombama. All same thing GI.

Romney does not get elected without conservative votes. That is our seat at the table. I suppose there's no guarantee that he won't pull an Etch-A-Sketch after the election, but I don't see a guarantee that he will either. Regardless, 0bama must go.

He never did that. Some statements from his staff were ambiguous, but, hey, everyone’s ambiguous about that bizarre decision from Roberts.

I refuse to be ABO.

He has a name. It’s Mitt Romney. I had other candidates early but when it came down to Romney or Santorum, I was for Romney.

Why?

Because I want to win this election and get rid of Obama.

Romney is a better man to do it than Santorum would have been.

Have courage, people.

Stop saying you will only vote for ABO and if you decide to vote for Romney, you will have to run full blast into a wall to punish yourself like a house elf.

Be for Romney. I dare you. Say it!

There is a simple principle that will help Romney wins.

The fear of loss is greater than the desire for gain.

We know that we will continue to lose everything — including the nation — if Obama remains in office. With Romney, they have a chance (however small) of staunching that loss. About the only thing that Romney might really be good for is to buy some time to get it right 4 years from now.

Of course, Romney has to help by making the case that he will be different than Obama and that is a tall order.

Of course,

The “I’m not voting for Romney, I’m voting against Obama” meme is simply a falsehood, an obvious one that is designed to cover up the truth of what you’re doing with a fig leaf.

Truth is, not a ballot in the country will offer a single line to vote against anyone for president. They will all contain only the opportunity to vote FOR your chosen candidate.

“We are doomed with these people ~ DOOMED!!! “

We are doomed with the likes of you. Bury your head in the sand and let those willing to fight for and if needed, die for, this country do what is needed to bring true conservative leadership back.

And while your head is in the sand. Consider this. While wars a won, many times battles are won at great cost.

Ridding the land and the people of Zero will be a great strategic battle win, even if it is not all that we had hoped for. We will be in a much better position to fight another day.

So believe all you want that we are DOOMED! It just is not true

Even if Obama was ousted within a 2nd term, Biden would appoint up to 3 SCOTUS justices, Eric Holder and the same US attorneys would continue to be the foxes guarding the henhouse, the executive orders would still stand, and - most importantly - George Soros would STILL have not only the ability to collapse the US economy but would have his own puppet controlling the military if martial law was declared.

Obama is just a figure-head, a place-holder to allow the entire system to be hacked by communist-Islamist enemies hell-bent on destroying our entire system and infrastructure. They have control of everything. EVERYTHING.

If we impeach Obama it will just be Biden who claims the legal right to assassinate any American citizen for any reason, no questions asked - and armed drones all over the country to make that a very real possibility. It will be Biden who issues amnesty to whatever Hezbollah operatives invade us from the south after being flown in on direct unchecked flights from Iran to Venezuela. It will be Biden who does all the same lawless crap that Obama has done.

Same turd, different flies. A different puppet run by the same puppet-master.

That is why I say we have had both arms and both legs blown to bits and we cannot afford to dream that a slow-acting cancer is our most imminent danger. We have got to seriously consider the peril we are in. The Soros regime is lawless and murderous, and Soros - who says he owns the democratic party, and that includes Joe Biden - says he is God and has to destroy the US and capitalism, the world’s great evils.

There is no way for me to adequately express the danger we are in. The boa is wrapped around our whole system and unless something drastic is done we will be dead before we even have the chance to say, “What?!”
