Conservative “expert” purists have to recognize people are voting AGAINST Obama not FOR Romney

The Drudge Report carries a picture of Mitt Romney jet skiing with his wife – “Oh no that’s it Barack Obama will cruise to reelection because all is lost!”

A few people, who we’ve heard of, have declared Romney’s campaign virtually dead because THEY don’t like his response to the two worst decisions from the Supreme Court.

These comments are, of course well meaning, but they remind us of the wide gap between grass roots activist TEA party conservative voters and conservative “leaders” who now want to run in front of the parade to appear to be relevant.

There is a huge surge of enthusiasm to get rid of Barack Obama that is happening in the streets and on conservative internet “meeting places” that will flush Barack Obama away in November. How can these “experts” not know this?

In my small but reliable poll 66% my overwhelmingly conservative readers said they were voting AGAINST Barack Obama and just 24% said they were voting FOR Mitt Romney! The large national polls won’t ask this question but that doesn’t alter the truth.

Our “expert” conservative leaders don’t yet understand that not only will conservative voters crawl through broken glass to vote against Obama, BUT more to the point, legions of Americans, especially White voters, who just desperately want Obama gone will see “ROMNEY” as the name on the toilet bowl handle that must be pulled down to flush away Barack Obama – America’s foulest mistake.

Over the past two years Obama’s nationally televised speeches have drawn fewer and fewer listeners. This is because Americans don’t care what he has to say, they want him gone.

Regardless of what he has done, Obama has not gotten ANY lasting “poll bounce” because Americans don’t care what he does, they want…..

By the way, it is the socialists who are splitting their votes in this election.

Just 1 big difference I see is that the media would drum Romney out of office if Romney ever dared to do what Obama did: when Obama passed the Dream act Amnesty for illegals without Congress. Obama unconstitutionally passed this dream act . obama committed an unlawful act but the media didn't call Obama on it but the media will drum any Republican President out of office as they did Nixon( all to get huge majorities of democrats in Congress and a democrat president as they did with Nixon).

So with Romney we'd have at best no action nothing done to harm us FURTHER. But Obama will decree amnesty to all illegals and the media won't call for impeachment. Obama will take our guns away by decree, Obama will put new taxes on us (carbon taxes etc.), Obama will send the IRS after us to audit everyone of us to see if we are complying with the Obamacare, take away our nukes, give the UN sovereignty over us, a million more things this marxist thug will do to us.

but Romney would be scared to issue executive orders because he knows the media would beat the drum to get him impeached . the media is looking to impeach a Republican president so that they can get a democrat president and another democrat congress.

With all due respect, stories about dying children are democrat tactics.

Why does everyone around is here blame non-abo’s for not voting for Romney, when it is ROMNEY who won't acknowledge us. At least Obama respects people enough to go to there events and ask for there votes. That is how much Romney hates conservatives.

The fact that Romney won't come and speak at pro-life/pro-family events proves he is not who he says he is. Why could he go to the log cabin rep event and not ours? He proves to us daily he's the big pro-abortion/ pro-gay...liberal we knew he is. The way he is acting proves he's playing games with you. How are you Christians going to feel when keep his promise to the log cabin republican; It will take a republican, not a democrat to pass gay marriage accross this country, and I will do that. God gave us common sense or discernment to use in making important decisions. Decisions we will have to answer for one day. If he can't look us in the eye and give us his word, he does not deserve our vote.

I hate lawlessness.

I hate an AG that sues states for protecting their residents and refuses to prosecute people of crimes if they happen to be of the right skin color.

I hate government telling people everything they can and can’t do.

I hate the US supporting Islamist regimes that butcher innocent women and children based on “judge’s knowledge” and execute people for simply converting from Islam.

I hate forgery, fraud, perjury, bribery, threats, and libel against anybody who points out those crimes.

I hate having DHS steal my e-mails.

I hate our own DOJ ATF, DEA, and DHS committing acts of war against Mexico - deliberately enabling and hoping for the deaths of innocent Mexicans and Americans as “collateral damage” in their quest to destroy the US Constitution and make every American a slave to the government.

I hate judges being threatened into supporting injustice.

I hate government that claims the right to assassinate US citizens with no accountability whatsoever.

I hate redistribution of wealth so that working people have their money stolen and given to Solyndra and other fat-cat political donors.

I hate union thugs manhandling their own people and anybody who speaks against them.

I hate inspectors general who actually do their jobs being illegally fired.

I hate executive branch members who lie to Congress, hide incriminating records, and call anybody who believes in the rule of law “racist”.

I hate a DHS that makes every person who goes on a plane prance around naked to TSA workers in the name of “security” - and yet lets Hezbollah operatives into our country, no questions asked, with whatever WMD’s Iran cared to arm them with when flying them on direct unchecked flights to Venezuela.

I could go on and on and on and on.

Now what were you saying about conservatives who support the very things they say they hate?

My vote will say I do not support any of the things above, nor any of the multitude of things I didn’t bother to list above.

Invariably, the person I vote for will have some lesser things they’ve been involved in that I also hate. When we’ve gotten rid of the things above, then I’ll go to work on what I hate that’s being done by the person who replaced the above. That’s how this process works.

I’ve been trying to explain this to folks HERE and other places for a long time now...

As much as Romney sucks as a conservative candidate, and with all his faults, the election is, was and always will be HIS TO LOSE...

WHY? Simple, this election has NOTHING to with the Republican Candidate, this election is a referendum on OBAMA... just like hte 2008 election was like it or not a referendum on BUSH. Just like 2004 was a referendum on BUSh and 2000 was a referendum on Clinton, etc etc etc...

That’s reality folks the Presidential election, is almost ALWAYS a referendum on the person or party who LAST held the office, period. IF its an incumbent election, its a pure referendum on the incumbent.. if its a non incumbent election its a referendum on the party is currently in the white house. That is why Bush Sr won in 1988, but lost in 1992! In 1998 he won as a referendum on Reagan, in 1992, he lost in a referendum on his term.

Does the MSM play favorites, and attempt to manipulate etc etc etc... of course they do, but end of the day presidential elections are simple referendums of the party in POWER. And OBama is going to lose his referendum in a landslide... its not even going to be close folks.

Every single indicator in every single poll I have seen all year, shows that people are going to throw this guy out with prejudice. The biggest challenge to the Republicans this election cycle was ensuring they didn’t put up someone as the candidate who could be painted as scarier than OBama to the typical swing voter, and while you and I may not be crazy about Romney for many many reasons, there is one thing that cannot be denied. There is no way you can paint Romney as unacceptable to the typical swing voter, let alone scarier than another 4 years of Obama.

Obama has ZERO chance of winning this election, in fact he has a popular vote max prior to the supreme court ruling of maybe 42-43%, and that was if he ran a perfect campaign, and his campaign has been like his presidency, absolute romper room. For anyone who enjoys the study of politics and elections, this guys campaign is in a shambles.. sure the MSM is attempting to prop it up, but its a joke. Here you have a sitting president who is going to have the distinction of being the ONLY president in the modern era to end his term with fewer people employed than the day he took office, and what’s he trying ot attack his opponent with? His opponents job record.. REALLY? If you are Obama, the last thing you should be talking about is Job Creation, because your 4 years have created negative net jobs!!! First time ever...

Now with the obamacare thing, I don’t think he can even hit 40% if he does everything perfectly.

Look at the numbers folks, this guy is out BEGGING for money 24/7, and his donors are gone, he’s throwing congressional democrats under the bus and told them, you ain’t getting a dime.. Local politicians are running from him, they know what the MSM doesn’t want to admit, he’s a dead weight.. He’s dragging his party down. THe one thing Dems had hoped for was that folks would focus on OBama and not vent their wrath on the entire party, but the Obamacare decision has just reignited the grass roots and will take the rejection of Obama down the ticket even more than it would have been otherwise... and it was going to be bad even had Obamacare been thrown out.

Obama hasn’t polled over the mid 40s since 6 months into his presidency, and he’s not going to bring that much to the ballot box.

By October anyone who is serious, and not just a partisan hack is going to be talking about WILL the republicans get 60 seats in the senate or not, no one but the most ardent partisan pundit will even be pretending that Obama has a prayer for re-election.

Fight hard, stay positive, don’t get complacent, but the very idea this fool can win re-election is laughable on its face.

The only genuine conservative I am aware of that will appear on our ballot in Wisconsin at this time is Virgil Goode (click). I've reviewed his positions on the issues (click) as well as his voting record (click) and find him a welcome relief from the likes of Obama and Romney. Unless someone more conservative than he appears on the ballot, I will vote for Virgil Goode proudly. Like John Fremont, he may not win. I do not require a "sure thing" to do the "right thing". I can't make a case that will convince you one way or the other. You are faced with an "R" candidate and a "D" candidate that are both advocates for bailouts, gun grabbing, abortion, amnesty, healthcare rationing, homosexualization, and big government. You may choose to support one or the other, or you may choose to risk it all and pick what's behind door number three. I'm picking the third door. Such action sparked the birth of a new nation and the birth of the Republican party, why not a resurgence of conservative values? It is a safer bet than trying to hold a liberal's feet to a conservative fire.

A better way to put it, we are voting to FIRE OBAMA!

You're voting to fire Obama and replace him another liberal, thinking that will advance conservatism. Brilliant!

Between Nixon, Ford and the Bushes did one of those Presidents do anything but move the country to the left? Why would you expect a man more liberal and dishonest than George W. Bush not to move the country to the left?

I hate lawlessness.

Romney's positions throughout his career, and to this day, are lawless, in many, many ways. And, it is a certainty that he will continue virtually all of the policies you list, and many others like unto them.

As for me, I agree with you on every single point, and have a long history on fighting on your side.

According to this small but reliable poll, then, 66% of conservative readers would vote for Hillary Clinton simply because she is "anything but Obama". I'm not buying it. People can only squint so much.

If "conservatives" why wouldn't they vote for Hillary if she claimed to be a Republican and took the right positions on the issues?

Romney has a more liberal than Bill Clinton does.

Never underestimate the stupidity of those that buy into the lesser of two evils strategy.

Well I’m not going to take a wing and a prayer in 2012. This isnt some feel-good movie.

When Obama is gone then I’ll entertain all types of stuff. This year absolutely not.

God used the Assyrians to wipe out Israel. Not because he thought the Assyrians were flawless, but because He had a purpose that He wanted to accomplish. God has always used clay pots to accomplish His purposes - including you and me. Sinners who deserved neither His vote nor His endorsement.

It sounds like what bothers you is pride. If Romney would just acknowledge that he needs you, then he would be more palatable. What you don’t like about him is that he doesn’t honor you, doesn’t woo you as if you mattered very much. It’s an understandable feeling - one that I think we all have - and yet it is not helpful to nurse that feeling right now.

I don’t want my child’s doctor to woo me. I want him to do the job at hand - keeping someone I love from dying. I love America. She is being systematically gunned down. I don’t care how rude the sheriff is to me, as long as he stops those I love from getting gunned down. In a crisis situation like this, I don’t have the luxury of accepting help only from those who woo me or show me how important they think *I* am. All that matters is if they will do what it takes to make sure my loved ones are not killed off. If that person gets us out of the immediate crisis, THEN we can go on to the luxury of building positive interpersonal relationships. But in a crisis where life and death are literally on the line, interpersonal conflicts are a luxury we can’t afford to waste time on.

You want us to reelect Obama on the hope that we'll then be able to arrest or impeach him?

I don't a Romney Presidency to destroy the gains we worked hard to make in 2010 and delay a chance at electing a conservative like Scott Walker for four more years.

And Romney will bypass solid conservative candidates to appoint liberals to 2/3rds of those SCOTUS seats

And Obama will appoint 3/3rds. When decisions are falling 5-4 we need everything we can get.

We can vote for Romeny and get him elected which will stop the hemororging.

His election is going bleed the conservative movement dry by wiping out the gains conservatives made in 2010 and give us another Democrat as bad as Obama in 2016.

Republicans in Massachusetts had less seats in the legislation than at any time since the civil war after Romney's governorship was done.

Your right and apparently he does not want to win. If he did he would go to give conservative an hour at our events and promise us, just like he does everyone else, he will truly be pro-life & traditional family. Why can’t he do this I wonder? Maybe because the media will report he made a promise to log cabin republican already and they will call him a flip-flopper again.

When Obama is gone then I’ll entertain all types of stuff. This year absolutely not.

You'll have to wait longer than that if your plan succeeds. You'll likely have eight years of Romney at the helm. You'll be trying to replace him after four years. Historically speaking, however, that plan has little chance of success. But, after eight years, the democrats will succeed in doing so. Disenfranchisement with the legislation signed by Romney in the meantime will cost us the House during interim elections, and we'll likely never gain a strong grip on the Senate. Following that you'll have a minimum of four years with a democrat president; eight years if they pick another Obama dazzler. Then you'll have a chance to start over and try this again. But ... it won't be feel-good movie time then either, so you may never make the change. I can't hold my breath for another sixteen years. This is the year for me. Impeachment inside two years, gridlock for two more, and a do-over attempt for a genuine conservative in four years.
