Should a Romney Cabinet include Rep. Ron Paul?
VIII / XXVI / MMXII | pansgold

Posted on 08/26/2012 3:09:11 PM PDT by pansgold

I just watched the Ron Paul Rally in Tampa, Florida on C-SPAN and I agree with much of what he says.

When Mitt Romney is elected President this November, I sincerely hope he appoints Rep. Ron Paul to a cabinet position.

I’d favor Rep. Paul for the Department of Energy or Education. Perhaps head of the Bureau of Land Management. For now the Departments of Treasury, Justice or Defense is too scary for me to even think about.

Let Rep. Ron Paul show America what he can do with cutting waste in a single department or bureau. If America likes what he does then maybe then he’d get real consideration by voters for being president a bit further down the road.

What do you think?

I was extremely surprised to hear he has tagged Jay Sekelow (sp) to either head or be on the team that makes his SCOTUS recommendations.

Make him Chairman of the Fed and I will no longer be surprised.

I’d favor the Department of Energy or Education be eliminated.

LOL is right. That’s what I just said. TOO SCARY. We wouldn’t have a base outside the U.S.

“for being president further down the road”

Dr. Paul is very close to 80. I don’t think that will happen.

I’d put Ron Paul at Dept of Education. Tell him to close it down. He would.

Well they should be able to keep the janitors that know where the building light switches are at. At least until he sells them.

Oh please, Romney doesn’t support eliminating a single department. You beg to differ, crazy Romneybots?
