Romney/Ryan or Bust! If you don't vote Romney this Nov. then you will be casting a vote for Obama

“Truth is the new hate speech.”—“Creeping Sharia”

“We [the people] own this country.”—Clint Eastwood

I feel like I ought to start out each of my articles anymore with a disclaimer, or caveat saying something along the lines of “WARNING: The contents of this article are to be considered null and void in the event of a “Reichstag Fire,” false flag event, and/or an invasion by Russian Spetsnaz in collusion with Northcom,“or words to that effect.

My intent is not to make light of such concerns, as God knows we have reason enough to be more than a bit edgy these days—what with the Patriot Act, NDAA, the torrent of Obama EOs (Executive Orders), various government agencies stockpiling millions of rounds of ammo, and other such things.

Personally, I am what you might call a cynical optimist—I hope for the best, but plan for the worst. I keep myself open to the idea that the US can peacefully pull itself out of the colossal mess that it is currently mired in—but I have enough guns, ammo, freeze dried food and whatnot to open a small survivalist store.

Be that as it may—the main topic that I wish to address in this article is my decision to back the Romney/Ryan ticket, and the fallout from that. Contrary to what some of you may think, I have not rushed off and enlisted in the “Dark Side.” I am as opposed to the Big Bank/ Big Corporation/Big Government/Big War cabal as ever...

" Well, when that includes MY part of the world that your willing to concede to your purism and myopia, when it affects MY ability to make a buck, then I must dismiss you as someone even beneath my contempt. This is why I get so annoyed at you silly socons. "

Like one is either pregnant or they are not, one is either conservative or they are not.

If you are not a socon you are a liberal.

I vote on jobs, defense, and the economy.

The only way abortion ends is if the SCOTUS reverses “Roe”. Congress, the president, or the states can’t do much on their own.

Given the usual 80-90 year span it takes for them to fix one of their mistakes, we have another 35-40 years to go yet.

In the meantime, we must preserve the republic.

Impossible with Zero.

Wake up and smell the coffee, Eunice!

My former Governor, Jesse Ventura often described himself as fiscally conservative and socially liberal.

He is a liberal through and through.

So are you.

I’d vote for an atheist if they supported free market principles. THAT’S what matters to me. The economy, defense, and deregulation.

I read Smith, Hayek, and von Mises. We’re living under Marx and Lenin now.

Maybe you should get your nose out of the Bible just once and read those.

We cannot survive 4 more years of Zero. There may NOT be a 2016 election if he gets back in.

But no.....that would mean compromising your pweshus widdle pwincipaws.....

No, I’ll keep trying to keep this party honest.

Mind you, I have no illusions that that is possible. But I’m never going to lay off them.

I don’t believe that describes Romney. I think he’s a dedicated statist.

And when was the last time you got your nose into a Bible?

I don’t need it...I have one...several in fact. Spending the day with the Rach Third will do that to you...

This is one of the big problems I have with you Protestant evangelicals.

You’re so damn concerned with eternity and the hereafter you often ignore the very real pressingf realities of this life right now.

I already have one, thank you.....had several in fact. Spending the day polishing the Rach Third back to performance caliber does that to a person, hehehe.

See, this is one of the major problems I have with Protestant evangelicals. they’re so concerned with eternity and the hereafter that they seemingly ignore the very crucial pressing realities of the here and now present.

“Comments?”

I am wondering how many posts like this will show up in the sixty or so days until the election by folks who somehow think they will change the minds of folks like me.

I’m thinking one every 3 hours..so I’d say at least 480.

“Regretably, Romney crosses that line. He has a proven record of gay marriage support”

Romney’s consistent stated position has been for traditional marriage. He held that position in 2002 when he criticized the mass supreme court ruling, and he stated it last week.
The Republican party’s consistent stated position has been for traditional marriage.
Obama’s stated position has been for gay marriage.
The Democratic party’s stated position has been for gay marriage. They have appointed judges who call it a constitutional right, passed it in state houses and openly push the envelope on it daily.

No matter what you think Romney did or didnt do in Massachusetts, the positions are stark clear and different. There are 2 things the President can actually do: Defend DOMA (or not), and appoint judges. Obama wont defend DOMA and will appoint judges who will call gay marriage a right.
4 more years under Obama, and gay marriage will be - through tossing of DOMA - law of the land.
Romney will defend DOMA.

“I don’t vote for ANYONE who intends to kill babies. “
Prolife Romney wont do that. Romney is as prolife as GHWBush was. Allowing Obama a second term will allow the HHS mandates and taxpayer funding of abortion in Obamacare to continue.

If you care about those issues, it seems pretty insane to let extremist pro-abort pro-gay marriage Obama get re-elected.
And America is at stake for a lot more reasons than those two issues anyway.

I’m not using Palin as a reason not to vote for Romney.

I’m citing what Romney DID to Palin as one, of MANY reasons why I refuse to vote for him.

I don’t care who Palin will vote for, she is after all, a politician who has to play by the rules of the club if she wants to play at all.

I’m not beholden to such things.

Listen Palpy, you make the case why the God-booing Democrat MarxoFascists in the DNC are not any different than you Christian-ridiculing Ruling Class Mittbot stooges.

Another reason among many I’m done with the GOP; - people like you.

I don't subscribe to that doctrine. But your ridicule is again duly noted.

There truly is little difference in a God-booing Obama stooge and a Christian-ridiculing Romney stooge.
