I feel like I ought to start out each of my articles anymore with a disclaimer, or caveat saying something along the lines of “WARNING: The contents of this article are to be considered null and void in the event of a “Reichstag Fire,” false flag event, and/or an invasion by Russian Spetsnaz in collusion with Northcom,“or words to that effect.
My intent is not to make light of such concerns, as God knows we have reason enough to be more than a bit edgy these days—what with the Patriot Act, NDAA, the torrent of Obama EOs (Executive Orders), various government agencies stockpiling millions of rounds of ammo, and other such things.
Personally, I am what you might call a cynical optimist—I hope for the best, but plan for the worst. I keep myself open to the idea that the US can peacefully pull itself out of the colossal mess that it is currently mired in—but I have enough guns, ammo, freeze dried food and whatnot to open a small survivalist store.
Be that as it may—the main topic that I wish to address in this article is my decision to back the Romney/Ryan ticket, and the fallout from that. Contrary to what some of you may think, I have not rushed off and enlisted in the “Dark Side.” I am as opposed to the Big Bank/ Big Corporation/Big Government/Big War cabal as ever...

Your imagery is pretty convoluted but if I understand your point, the GOPe is throwing bombs and I’m somehow the bad guy.
This discussion has a similar feel to the discussion of whether one should purchase and eat food offered to idols. The Apostle Paul instructs that while the food that one eats can not defile a believer, nevertheless, a believer should follow his conscience.
I'm sure that Paul would have argued that worshiping idols is by definition, evil, however food is not evil in and of itself.
Similarly, in our day we face a decision of conscience. Has Mitt acquiesced to evil? Yes, when it came to supporting abortion and gay rights - to name a few. Has he changed his mind? Well here is the rub - he says that he has. So what to do?
Well when considering that Obama has doubled-down in his support for the slaying of the unborn, the choice by some of us is clear. As for myself, I can with a clear conscience, cast a vote for Mitt with the understanding that if he acts the charlatan and reneges on his "conversion" he will answer not only to his constituency, but to God Almighty.
If you feel that God would have us disregard an individuals turn towards a more "righteous" public policy, that is your decision, and I will not denigrate your decision to not eat the "meat offered to idols".
However, unless you can produce an Obama supporter who partners with you NOT TO VOTE, you cannot with any logic, contend that your LACK of a vote makes no difference to the overall percentages. If you feel you are taking a principled stand, I can and will respect that. But you look foolish when insisting that withholding your vote has no effect on the overall tally.
Regarding the "lick the hand" language: I could make the argument that Satan wants Obama to remain president, and that anyone who doesn't vote against him is "licking Satan's hand". But since I don't know your heart and you don't know mine, how bout we pray for wisdom, vote our conscience, and let God sort it out?

Allowing Obama to win will not save conservatism. It will not rescue liberty from imminent death.
And if all you have left to salvage is your pride, well you’re losing that too if you pay the greatest price in return for zero gain.
Which is not to mention his repeated disses and expressions of contempt ("they'll vote for me when I'm the last man standing") for conservatives, his ditching Texas completely, and sending out his Children of the Corn to backstab and calumniate Sarah Palin at every turn since during the 2008 campaign, and after.
It’s not personal. My 1/200,000,000th of a vote isn’t going to make any difference. So it is simply insane to blame me if Obama wins. I’m not telling anyone else what to do.

I’ve been there for some time, and on that at least we are in agreement.
Truth: There are one hundred votes. Candidate Bambi gets 49. 1 vote for Virgil Moron, 1 vote for Tom Halfling, 1 vote for Fairy Johnson. (or all 3 vote for Bob Barred, whatever). The remainder vote for a RINO squish knowing they have a chance to get rid of the worst, most divisive, most destructive, most Marxist, pro-muzzie, pro-death, anti-freedom, anti-God, anti-American, anti-everything we say we love and care for administration ever.
Who wins?
If not voting for Romney helps Obama, then not voting for Obama must surely help Romney, right?

There are some here who might be problematical to have on your side in battle. They do not like how the company is being led by the captain. So they decide to put down their weapons and not be involved in the next day’s battle. Because of numerical superiority, the other side, of course, slaughters the entire company. Those who put down their weapons could feel very good about standing up to the captain and standing on their own principles, except they can feel nothing. They’re dead. The whole company is dead.

That is a logical statement ONLY if both candidates are EQUAL in every way - in that case they cancel each other out. Which begs the question: does one of the candidates edge out the other in one or more important categories?
As I've said before, if you cannot with a clean conscience vote for Mitt, fine. But unless you produce an Obama supporter who partners with you NOT to vote for their side, don't try to make the fallacious claim that your choice does not affect to overall percentages.
Of course we have the ideological purists whose kneejerk reactions are to accuse others of 'selling their soul' or some other lame rhetorical clap trap..........but the purists would prefer to see 0bama win another term in Office so he can finish the job of destroying our Republic, they would prefer to 'teach the GOP' a lesson, even if the cost is our national survival. Such purist 'conservatives' are like arsonists who arrive at the scene of the fire disguised as volunteer fire fighters, carrying jugs of gasoline beneath their coats. They get off on seeing just how high they can make the flames go. It isn't just sad, it is deranged.
