Circular logic and thick verbiage can't hide Romney's solid lead in new Battleground poll

The message attached to a new Politico-George Washington University Battleground Poll (P-GWUBP) is a study in literary gymnastics. As hard as the authors tried to twist the data of the survey, reading it brings you to only one logical conclusion: Mitt Romney is moving toward a solid victory and probably a landslide in November.

The report starts with background information whose only purpose is to try to discourage readers from sticking with “yesterday’s news” and stop reading before they get to the devastating news for Barack Obama. Once the actual report starts the “good” news for Obama fans is provided: Obama leads Romney by 3 points – well kind of – sort of.

P-GWUBP admits to “rounding the number up from 2.6%.” Afterward the report slips further and further into “Democrat fantasylands speak” as the contradictions begin to pile up. As you read these data points keep in mind that..

Good thing about the Arab Fall riots is they remind Americans they were stupid for supporting Hussein in the first place.

Sane people should be disappointed that Obama apologized for the first Amendment: Something a president promises as he is sworn into office.

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

To be fair to “O”, I don’t think he KNOWS the US Constitution in the firt place... so, he isn’t really subverting it... right?

Actual names need to be documented and saved for future ex-
posure. What I am saying is if this election shakes out the way
some people are thinking, (a Romney landslide) then those who
are attempting to cook poll results and those in the MSM
who are out and out lying need to be called out directly by name
rather than having the ability to hide in obscurity until the
next election when their devious deeds will have been forgotten.

It may change a few minds, but for the most part, do you really think the empty-headed masses are even paying attention? They don't have a clue why events overseas have ramifications to this country.

If, however, someone could sit them down, and in very basic, simple terms convince them the terror attacks in Benghazi affected their ability to buy beer, watch their favorite reality show or get a tattoo, it might focus their little minds. But until then, events in faraway lands, even if they include gruesome deaths of Americans, are way too distant and abstract. I'm convinced that's why Romney and the GOPers have a more difficult time with voters than the condescending dems. Romney speaks to people as adults and the subject matter sails over most Americans' heads. Obama, on the other hand, talks at them like children, keeping things very simple, all the while offering treats along the way.

But, but, you must recall that by his own account, Dear Leader was a “constitutional law professor” at no less than the vaunted University of Chicago...surely he knows the Constitution...his problem is he hates the Constitution and those who would be true to their oath to defend it against all enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC...emphasis added. Unfortunately, the percentage of "oath takers" in the DC area who are true to their sworn duty is way too low!

Charen, Krystal, and Feder may need to be dealt with
but I am not talking about those who are drinking the
Kool-aid who are supposed to be on our side. I refer
to the pollsters and MSM types who hide, twist, and
distort info because they do, in fact, have a dog in
the fight even though they proclaim neutrality.

Billy Boy Clinton was a Constitutional Law Professor as well. What is it with these guys?

I can't believe they can know the Constitution (properly) then proceed to subvert every syllable of it to suit their own material, immediate, temporary and very selfish purposes.

Actually, if the US never has another President who styles himself a ‘Constitutional Professor’ it will be TOOOOO soon!
