I went over there a few minutes ago to look around and laugh. The consensus seems to be that Barry lost because Romney shotgunned so many lies that Barry couldn’t keep up. No word on exactly what Romney “lied” about. They just claim it and move on. They’re deranged.

The CNN fact-checking operation said Romney lied (again) about the $700 billion in cuts from Medicare. That they aren't cuts, just slowed-growth.

Which is hilarious because Dem MO for the last couple decades has been to present GOP slowed-growth proposals as cuts. I'm sure there's a list out there of every time they've done it.

I think it’s just mass delusion on both sides. I didn’t hear anything especially good from Romney. In fact, Obama’s essential point that Romney has no specifics was a good one. The only thing Romney was specific about was that he agreed with Obama on many things, but that Obama is a failure and presumably he will do unspecified things in a better way. Romney was certainly more animated, but the only thing that will change people’s minds is the reaction to the debate commentary. From that point of view, this debate can only help Romney for those who did not watch the debate.

As my husband put it, the Democrats on TV were wetting their pants, they were so upset. He turned on some station from the Direct TV mix, that I think must be Al Gore’s station and it was just amazing to watch. Granholm just said that Obama will have to do better next time. Elliot Spitzer said that, that wasn’t the guy that we want to vote for, that he didn’t even try to counter the accusation of $713 billion in medicare cuts.
