Bill Clinton is Melting Down All Over Again
frontpagemag.com/the-point ^ | Oct 21, 2012 | Daniel Greenfield

Bill Clinton is supposed to be the secret weapon in this race. The Oxford draft dodging grad who can appeal to working Americans because he has a Southern accent. The problem is that Bill also has a history of melting down during campaigns.

Clinton’s incredible campaigning abilities have been largely overstated. Clinton won two presidential elections against ridiculously weak Republican candidates who barely showed up. That’s also how he became Governor of Arkansas. He blew the 2008 primaries and now he’s beginning to melt down all over again.

“This shouldn’t be a race. The only reason it is, is because Americans are impatient on things not made before yesterday and they don’t understand why the economy is not totally hunky-dory again.”

Clinton’s gaffe is a natural one for an elitist liberal, but any serious campaigner knows better than to blame people who are out of work and struggling to feed their families for not being on board with your campaign. It’s a deadly and easily exploitable mistake.

Bill Clinton is channeling former ABC news anchor Peter Jennings’ response to the 1994 midterm elections where the American people turned on the Democratic Party.

“Some thoughts on those angry voters. Ask parents of any two-year-old and they can tell you about those temper tantrums: the stomping feet, the rolling eyes, the screaming. Imagine a nation full of uncontrolled two-year-old rage. The voters had a temper tantrum last week.”

Clinton’s gaffe wasn’t as bad as Jennings’, but it’s a sign that he’s beginning to melt down. This was how it happened in South Carolina in 2008 when Clinton’s ego and competitiveness took the lead and he began speaking out without thinking about the political consequences. And now it’s happening again.

Clinton has made a fortune and it’s in poor taste for him to sneer at Americans for being too “impatient” for an economic recovery. People who are living from paycheck to paycheck have a right to demand results from their elected officials and they have a right to wonder why a government that runs trillion dollar deficits keeps sending them empty promises instead of a way out.

I don’t know how a guy that never carried a majority of the vote in two elections gained the reputation for being such a fantastic campaigner.

I guess he is the best they’ve got - which isn’t saying much.

Greenfield nails it. Again. Doesn’t even need a full length article to nail it.

Check out his Sultan Knish column and learn even more how much he nails it.

Bubba meltdown. Saw that Clinton temper back in 1998.

History FYI -

Bill Clinton won his first prez run because Ross Perot ran as the third party candidate. On that election night Perot pumped his fist in the air and exclaimed, "WE WON!!" Oh yeah? He only got about 18% of the vote. He "won" because he hated George Bush and told Clinton he would do anything he could to get him elected. Clinton garnered only about 43% of the vote.

The 18-19% that Perot garnered would have given George H.W. Bush the win.

The author of the piece doesn’t get it. Clinton in this instance does NOT want Obama to win. One, he doesn’t like Obama; two, he would rather go after a one term Romney than a US electorate who will be COMPLETELY fed up with the DEms after two terms. At the same time, he has to achieve the desired effect without being so explicit so as to appear to be a traitor.

Clinton knows haranguing undecideds and Romney supporters impatient won’t flip any votes to Obama. He also knows that the many respectful things he has said about Romney recently increases Romney’s credibility with all.

Clinton does have meltdowns, this isn’t one of them.

That label was BESTOWED upon Slick because it was beneficial to the ‘rat party for him to bear that title. And since when has the ‘rat party been sticklers for truth and honesty?/S

Let me fix that for Bubba.

This shouldn’t be a race. The only reason it is ,is because the Media is 100% for Obama. Obama has tripled the debt and would be gone if the Press was not covering for him 100%.

Americans are impatient. Impatient to shake off the disastrous policies of the Muslim, and we are also impatient with the press who we no longer trust.

Clinton is a severe character disorder. Trusting him to hold up under stress, and restrain his impulses without reverting to type, is a fool's errand. Obama will pay for this poor judgment, may already have.

Quite literally ALL of Bill Clintoons successes came from a Republican Congress forcing him into fairly good moves.. He had nothing to do with them he just signed the legislation.. orchestrated by Newt..

Newt Gingrich forced him to be pliable.. and appear to not hate America.. It was Newt not Clintoon that made all of Clintoons successes.. Newt did it not Bubba.. with no doubt a hairy harangue from the Hildebeast for doing it too, at home..

Poor old Bubba is just as clueless as Barry HAlf-White is..
But Barry don’t a Newt to come to his rescue.. PeeWeeHerman would be a better Speaker than Boehner.. One thing Boehner does have, “good hair”.. He looks like a Congressman but isn’t.. he is a drone in the Collectivist Hive..

But Newt is a rascal.. a whore.. I would be willing to pay him a couple billion to fix America.. up to 10 Billion.. It would be cheap..

The Oxford draft dodging grad

Actually, I'm pretty sure he didn't graduate from Oxford. His career as a Rhodes Scholar was cut short when he ran into some sort of sexual trouble (reputed to be a rape) and the Brits suggested that maybe he should leave the school without completing the program.

But not many people talk about that (he is, after all, A Democrat).
