As a result of Tuesday's election, Americans in 15 states have filed petitions to secede from the United States, Regina Conley reported at Red Alert Politics on Saturday.

So far, she says, residents in Louisiana, Texas, Kentucky, Colorado, New Jersey and ten other states, have filed petitions at the White House petition site requesting secession. A petition for New York to secede was file by "C R" of Grand Forks, North Dakota on Saturday.

Examiner's Sheila Carroll says those other states include Montana, North Dakota, Indiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Oregon.

On November 7, the day after the election, "Michael E" from Slidell, Louisiana, filed a petition at the White House "We the People" site, requesting that Louisiana be allowed to secede...

...Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, ...

You apparently don't believe in that principle so don't talk down to those who do. We have the courage of our convictions that those founding principles are inviolable in their necessity to the very existence of America. You are running from that with the running of your mouth.

He stepped on, bypassed, ignored and insulted the Constitution more than any foreign enemy ever could in his first term. Now that he has a ‘mandate’ for his agenda what are the odds that he can be reigned in by the law?

Right on. All those communists didn’t just up and disappear in a puff of smoke. Every time the bear stumbles we spend our money helping it up and rescuing it from the consequences of their crappy government.

All so they can recover and become a threat again.

Good luck trying to talk some of these people down. What FDR did in the 30s and what LBJ, Nixon, Ford, and Carter did were worse. Unfortunatley, we may have to go through those conditions again to set the stage for a new Reagan/Thatcher revolution.

I agree with you. We have the most dangerous dictator leading this country in the past 2oo plus years of our existence and peace is the last thing in his mind. We need a revolution that has loooooooong been on pause. Time to press play...

We should have it on the ballot for each state, whether or not our state will secede. We have the right to independence , to have the government that we want for each state and to live our life how we see fit. That's called freedom. Obama is an oppressive communist.I think several Republics of the soviet union protested and got independence. Why aren't we out there protesting this communist criminal Obama? People in Scotland will have this right to vote for independence . So should we.

Just like the Marxist Liberals you misrepresent the quotations from the Founding Fathers and and make false statements about what you claim I do and do not believe. Then you once more promote the idea of the disunion of the United States in common cause with the efforts of the Communists and the KGB-FSR to bring about the disunion of the United Sates. Keep it up, and you’ll be ever more so persuasive. It just won’t be the persuasion you had intended.

Every American should have the right to vote for the independence of their state from this evil, communist, socialist regime ruled by this little marxist dictator called Obama. Georgia a soviet Republic and others got independence from the soviet union. Scotland soon will have this vote for independence from Britain.

I live in Ohio and I am not at all interested in Succession.

Instead I would like a huge load of cement blocks and mortar.

I want some volunteers to help me build a wall around Cincinnati, Cleveland and Columbus.

They can be their own little city states and they can leave the rest of us Red State Ohioans alone.

It is up to the lesser magistrates -/governors, state attorney generals, state reps and senators, county sheriffs, to protect us from the feds. They have the power to get us out of contracts and also to kick them out of the state, legally.

I chased the links from source to source and found only the same article, word for word. Looking harder, I couldn't find any reference to any petition in North Dakota, only that someone named "CF" in Grand Forks, ND had allegedly filed such a petition for New York...

Which brings up a thought.

How about filing petitions to kick the blue States out and let them find a new name, Leaving America to continue without their BS?

If the majority of states voted to give the few which elected Duh-1 the boot (Or at least the regions thereof), would that be Constitutional (and they can take their debt and parasites with them).

PS:No offense intended to the Conservatives behind 'enemy' lines.

Canada is an amalgam of post-monarchy commonwealth with decidedly American (Frontier era) overtones, palimpset by eurosocialism lite.

I doubt they would tolerate the whining American Liberal Socialists well.

At least most of the Canadians I know wouldn't.

They work for a living, are productive, and are the salt of the Canadian resource-based economy which has been gaining in strength and rolling back their 'socialist experiment' while our American 'blue zones' slide further into the Marxist abyss, trying to drag the rest of us with them.

Given what Obama has done to the debt - not premature at all. Look at what’s happening with Catalonia, Flanders and Venice.
