I say charge.

The GOP lost its focus for a long, long time.

Manufacturing things abroad (China) and all sorts of self-destructive nonsense.

That is what sunk the GOP. Now is time to rebuild and replace.

Then take back our Whitehouse.

We’re waiting, Sarah.

I’d vote for her in a heartbeat. But she would need the heart and soul of “Joan of Ark”, as the media would do all it could to burn her at the stake

You assume too much .. I’ve never heard Mr. Cruz say anything about having higher expectations of any other position.

I’ve just heard this guy talk about the Constitution and he’s exceptionally qualified - but we’ll see how he votes .. and he does have 3 years or so to prove what he’s made of.

First we will have to find a way to Tina Fey. Those SNL kits were devastating to Sarah Palin.

I would love to know what word you neglected to include in your post.

find a way to [what?] Tina Fey.

“Now try to understand why she stepped down to live to fight another day. Which she has done.”

I understand the math - and the practicality of it all.

But it’s the perception of running away from a fight - particularly a political one (IMO). There are always going to be someone somewhere that will want to fight one way or the other.... Our political leaders do it everyday.

And really my point is that I just don’t think she wants the hassle of playing politics... which is ok - I don’t either.

“In 2014, as the leader of the conservative wing of the GOP and the nation, Palin will be in the thick of things again.

The most influential endorsement in America, and in history.”

Ansel - I hope you are right and she is effective in 2014 - but she has been invisible on the national stage in 2012, I would have liked to see us take back the Senate.

Currently I don’t see her as the leader of the conservative wing, but things change. Sarah has gone against the more conservative Tea Party in a number of races as well - and those candidates won as well.

I hope she stays out there, lending her name to conservatives, she is very effective with some folks. It would be great if she would increase her reach.... I just get the impression she has other priorities.

There is no question that she is the leader of the conservative wing, in fact she is the single most influential leader of the GOP.

Palin wasn't anywhere close to being invisible in 2012, she gave us Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, and she gave us the only GOP pickup in the Senate, Deb Fischer of Nebraska, over Senator Bob Kerry, to replace democrat Senator Ben Nelson.

Palin had a narrow miss in Missouri when her female candidate lost the primary to Akins, Palin also had a number of victories in the House, in keeping with being the top endorsement in America, of either party.

Palin's reach is incredible, and we can assume that she will be the single most important player of 2014, as it seems she was in 2012.

Sheeesh, you still don't get it!

So you believe Sarah should have stayed and allowed Obozo's thugs to continue filing false ethics charges and eventual financial ruin?

Sarah did NOT run away from a fight - only an idiot kook would make that statement.

Sarah chose to reload and attack from a different position.

Now go back to your DU-hating conservative women hellhole.

Sorry to burst your bubble. Sarah couldn’t get elected dogcatcher.

Jeb can't even get elected as a homeless guy with a pooper scooper down at the dog park. FURINOs

‘Now go back to your DU-hating conservative women hellhole.”

OK another rude ding-a-ling.... what is wrong with you - so angry and mean with anyone who shares a different perception. It’s like you have one argument and no real reasons other than what you think is true. Yeah the libs were fighting dirty - but you seem to think that Sarah was the only person to have ever fought them ? And Sarah is far from financial ruin.

Everyone here wants strong leaders - my question, and it was a question / comment - was that is Sarah that leader or will she be perceived by others differently, because she didn’t serve out her term ?

Now try to relax and make intelligent arguments - I can understand how you may have a different opinion but it’s just that, opinion.

Ansel for the record I got this from

http://us4palin.com/accomplishments/master-list-of-governor-palins-2012-accomplishments/

“2012 Endorsements Success Rate: 57.14% of endorsed candidates in which an election has been held. In cases involving a runoff, we are counting the runoff as the election having been held for purposes of calculating the success rate of Gov. Palin’s endorsements. Six out of the eight wins were endorsed during the primary season and went on to win the general election. The success rate on this subset is 75%.”

I haven’t second sourced it. But if I summarize: her endorsement record is 57% overall. Her record if she endorsed in the primary was 75%.

I like Sarah, and think she has a lot to offer - I’d like her to use more of her “capital” consistently. And I wonder if she is going for the Ann Coulter career model (write books and give talks) or politician.

Thanks for posting that, Palin has a great record as far as win totals but more importantly, since her endorsements are about improving the party, they entail risk, they are not about picking a winner as in a sporting event, it is about shaping the future to benefit the conservative movement which she leads, taking risks to move the goal lines, such as with Ted Cruz and Deb Fischer, incredible long shots.

Romney’s legacy in politics will be gay marriage and Obamacare, Rove spent 400 million dollars and didn’t help conservatism.

When conservatives looked for good news in 2010, they saw names like Allen West, Susanna Martinez, Rand Paul, Nikki Haley, in this election where the infamous Massachusetts liberal did the impossible, losing to Carter’s second term, conservatives cling to the Palin victories of Ted Cruz and Deb Fischer in the Senate.

Deb Fischer’s win was the only Senate pickup for the GOP, and Ted Cruz will be worth at least 2 Dewhursts.

We can all assume that Palin will have a similar effect on 2014 as she yet again rallies the demoralized conservatives to help make up for the mistakes of the Romney/Rove wing of the party.
