Rep. Tom McClintock for Speaker of the House - (R-CA4) |
Can’t think of anyone better for the job!
How about Allen West???
That would be awesome-Do you think it could happen?
“How about Allen West???”
He’s no longer a member of the House!
Tom McC, or Allen West; or Duncan (Lee) Hunter!
There is nothing on that web page except saying Tom McClintock for Speaker of the House. Is this serious or not?
Though it has never happened, a Speaker need not be a member of the House.
Apparently, it's becoming `common knowledge', that the Speaker does NOT have to be a "member of the House".
~ So `everyone' is saying... ~
VERY Serious!

As The Great One Mark Levin tells us, the Constitution does not demand that the Speaker of the House be an active, elected member. The Constitution only states that he, she be chosen by the elected ones. That.s why we should chose Cheney!
It does not matter if the new Speaker is an elected Congressman or not. Allen West or Newt Gingrich could be the new Speaker replacing Bonehead Boehner.
He would be superb!!
Go Tom.
I don’t think you have to be a member! Newt name was just introduced the other day!
McClintock bump!!!
There was once a McClintock ping list...
>> How about Allen West???
Prolly easier to promote an active congressman.
McClintock used to be great, but Schwarzenegger turned him into a socialist. Sometime around 2005 or so, he gave up and started endorsing terrible initiatives. He, or someone he worked with, admitted as much to a friend who called his office. He knew he shouldn’t be endorsing the initiative, but he gave up. Really sad.
Mark Levin claims that the Speaker does not have to be a member of Congress.
