Bob Beckel on Fox news asked yesterday, "Why does anyone need an "assault rifle"?
I thought...Why does anyone need a 900 HP muscle car?...they could drive an East German wondercar like the Trabant or a Yaris or some other meager means of transport which aren't so "wasteful and dangerous". Why is there 1st class seating on airliners? Why are there multi CPU, overclocked computers when a plain vanilla Dell would be adequate?
I know you could come up with many more examples like this.
There are many choices we have the privledge to make because we live in this wonderful country. Some of the choices are wasteful, frivolous or dangerous to some. One of the choices we have is the weapon we choose. Whether it's for sport or protection...it's our choice...like many things in our life. You know...."assault weapons" are not Automatic weapons...they are the same mechanically as some hunting rifles with just a change in the stock design...with maybe a pistol grip added. They look more dangerous to these communists in the house and senate so they want to get rid of them. Most don't know a thing about firearms.
We have, and enjoy owning all types of guns because we are Americans and have freedom of choice. It would be wrong to take guns away from good and lawful people. You know the criminals won't give up there's. This is just another lie from the left.

I'm an old fart and can't run away from danger or hide as quickly as I used to, so may need to get myself some better defensive weaponry.

What ticks me off more than anything is that we can never get to the real truth, you know, the one that Americans fear the most and nobody wants to acknowledge on TV or anywhere else.
The truth is that Americans know the communists have taken over, they are called progressives and they hate the US Constitution. People want these guns because they know tyranny is coming by way of the government. Which is the reason that the 2nd amendment is a Constitutional right.
It was to refresh the tree of liberty lest a tyrannical government come into being. The revolution redux.
Citizens do not possess the arms that their taxes have paid for that the illegitimate government has accrued by way of. Their only hope are weapons such as these. You also know that those who would own these weapons would never, and would not, use them lightly.
More have purchased these weapons since Obama came into being. The reason is because they know he does not have any respect for liberty or for the Constitution.
