A Notice to Those Freepers Interested in the Science Behind Political Science
The Evolutionary Psychology Behind Politics ^ | July 14th, 2013 | Anonymous Conservative

Posted on 07/14/2013 9:05:23 AM PDT by AnonymousConservative

I want to make Freepers aware that the Kindle version of the book, “The Evolutionary Psychology Behind Politics” will be free at Amazon next Thursday. The book explains the fundamental psychology behind Liberalism, and why it exists within our species. Ten years ago, I would have been unable to explain how such a weak, foolish, cowardly, instinctively treasonous and disloyal, reality-blind psychology could have ever survived in the world. In my view back then, I would have thought that no Liberal would last ten seconds in a state of nature, and their very existence would have been an unsolvable mystery.

The book explains not just how Liberals could survive in nature, but why they are thriving today, and why they will diminish greatly in number in the near future. It begins by explaining how in nature, there are two psychologies among animals, described in what is called r/K Selection Theory. r/K Theory says that organisms tend to adopt one of two psychologie. In one, organisms grow aggressive/competitive/protective, sexually selective, monogamous, family oriented, and loyal to an in-group, like wolves (the K-selected psychology), o as to compete for limioted resources. Alternatively, they will exhibit a psychology that is cowardly, prone to flee danger, promiscuous, non-family oriented, and selfish, so as to effectively exploit a resource glut. This is best exemplified by the rabbit (an r-selected species), which lives in fields of grass it can never possibly consume. The book explains what in our evolutionary past led us to evolve both psychologies in our species, shows how factors which favor the emergence of one or the other in nature will tend to produce the rise of one or the other in human populations, and it even explains at the neurostructural level what current research shows about how they arise, both genetically, and through environmental conditioning. It is an interesting work that may change how you view our political battles, and how you think the future will play out.

The biggest benefit of this information however is in debating Liberals. Just this week, I had a reader tell me that he was in an argument with a Liberal, he turned the conversation to this topic, explained the theory to the Liberal, and was met with utterly shocked silence. In the words of the reader, “It is like garlic to them.” Liberals see something in this which terrifies them, and when you show them that you see it, they are horrified.

For that reason, I want this work to spread, so the book will be free next Thursday (Amazon only gives five free days during a 90 day period, so I am using each day to organize and appeal to a different audience, to maximize the spread). Please consider telling friends, sharing it on Facebook, Tweeting it, posting it to your favorite blog, and helping to get as many to download it as possible. I would also appreciate any reviews Freepers want to post on Amazon. I already have two bogus reviews from Liberals who never read the book (as I said, the very idea terrifies them - enough to motivate them to seek out a book's Amazon page, and post a negative review of a book they haven't even read), so I would like to compliment those reviews with reviews from the right, to give a more accurate idea of what is in the book.

Here are some quotes I have received from readers, none of whom I know personally,

“After the Bible, the list of books with as much potential importance and world impact as yours is a short one.” -

unsolicited email from a journalist

“Fascinating stuff – it finally solved the riddle of why all those seemingly unrelated political positions cluster together so frequently.”

“Wow! I've probably read enough psych books to have a PhD in the subject... All I can say is thank you. This is great stuff.”

“I did my graduate work in neuroscience. You’re absolutely right.”

“I love this theory. It hit me like a thunderbolt when I realized what it was, and a day or two of thinking about it has left me no less impressed.”

“Not to stray off topic, but your work is mind-blowingly uncanny, accurate, timely and relevant. Bravo. I hope you acquire fame and fortune from it – it will be well deserved. Absolutely fascinating theory...like turning light after light on in a darkened room.”

“[this work on r/K Theory] is a key that opens many doors.”

“I'm even more impressed...I think your thesis offers some superb insights.... (I'm trying to avoid the hackneyed "brilliant", but that's the word that comes to mind.)” -

A well known Conservative Science Blogger

“Your paper is really interesting, and connects a lot of insights from many disciplines.” -

unsolicited, via email

Bear in mind, the softcover is priced at $25, and the Kindle is normally $9.99, so being free, this is a good value, and represents a lot of time spent tracking down the research in the endnotes, supporting every facet of the work. Amazon also has a reader program for your computer that is free, so if you don't have a Kindle, you can still get this work and read it for free. Also, Amazon prime members can borrow the book for fee.

Stop by, pull the book, and then explain it to a Liberal some day. I think you'll like what happens. Imagine if this was how Liberalism came to be viewed by all of Conservatism. Then imagine if every Liberal had to confront this information in every subsequent debate on politics. It would drive the vast majority of Liberals to either depression or madness.

I'll put up a reminder post on Wednesday, and one Thursday morning. Until then, please tell friends, and share it with anyone who you think might be interested.

This work is amazingly destructive to the intellectual support for Liberalism. Any help anyone can give taking this viral would be greatly appreciated.

We have a rabbit. I’m going to ponder this further. It doesn’t seem like completely new news, though, as people have already said that the Roman empire at its height became decadent and then declined.

I’m trying to think of “wolf” type cultures in human history— the Spartans or the Vikings, perhaps?

Glut promotes idleness.

Idleness engenders ruin.

It begins by explaining how in nature, there are two psychologies among animals, described in what is called r/K Selection Theory. r/K Theory says that organisms tend to adopt one of two psychologie . . . .

As a barely literate geezer I do remember when nevertheless.. and I suggest that it's just plain old-fashion bratiness.

The 1960s Marxist-Alinsky campus radical, psycho spoiled brats were celebrated in the establishment MSM as the most intelligent generation ever! They are now arguably that very establishment that praised them and they hold themselves and their ideological issue in even higher regard.

They hijacked the now defunct Democratic Party in the 1970s. The fault is ours. Abe will explain from "the other side."

You initiated a policy to tolerate the Marxist-Alinsky radicals and let them rant; not only has it not ceased but was constantly augmented by decades of infiltration and indoctrination. You now have two Americas. In my opinion, it will not cease until a crisis shall have been reached and passed. A house divided against itself cannot stand. I believe this government cannot endure, permanently, half statist and half free; I do not expect the house to fall; but I do expect it will cease to be divided. It will become all one thing, or all the other.

Obama, et al are ideological issue of the 1960s Marxist-Alinsky campus radical, psycho spoiled brats. It's just simple, plain old-fashion bratiness. Dangerous as hell but still only spoiled brats.

Your work always makes sense at a gut level which is why I always look forward to it.

It doesn’t try to confuse you with information overload with made up words and obfuscating words in an attempt to compensate for flawed theory.

Too many of the people I sadly know who consider themselves smarter than the rest of the population because they have masters degrees in useless life skills would have to read a 900 page instruction manual on water dynamic before they attempted to pour piss out of a boot, and even then some can;t figure out that inverting the boot drains the urine out of it.

With the continued move toward cities, I question your idea that liberalism will decline. It probably will increase. But, looks like an interesting book.

I’m trying to think of “wolf” type cultures in human history— the Spartans or the Vikings, perhaps?Just look at early America and our founding fathers.

Read de Toqueville and understand how people viewed early America.

Thanks for the kind words. I hope if you pull the book you enjoy it.

FR posted this twice, and then bumped me to the other page, which I thought was the only copy, so I missed the discussion here. Sorry about that.

You said, “With the continued move toward cities, I question your idea that liberalism will decline. It probably will increase. But, looks like an interesting book.”

That part kind of scares me, because it does shift back, and harshly. Rome saw the farmers abandon their farms and head for the city. Yesinia pestis turned back the Dark Ages by cleaning out high population densities. History would indicate it will shift back by some means.
