Former President of South Africa, Nelson Mandela, has died. In an announcement today, a spokesman stated that he “departed… in the presence of his family.”
“He is now resting, he is now at peace. Our nation has lost its greatest son. Our people have lost a father,” he added.
Mandela was 95.

Not really a sad affair, unlike Paul Walker’s untimely demise.
Mandela lived a very long life (not sure what the average is in South Africa), and accomplished a great deal. You couldn’t have hoped for better.
He is not the saint people make out and was in bed with some radical left wing nutjobs, but compared to the current regime of whitey-killing Mugabe drones, Mandela was not an overall negative.
Rest in peace. I hope the family is doing okay.
