Maybe the price is ridiculous, so no one champions selling or buying them?

Plus going public for $226.1 million.

Somehow some people credit that with operating in the black. They are as red as the Soviet Union ever was.

Indeed. Simple fact of the matter is that gasoline power is more efficient than any of the electric options.

And auto manufacturers are increasing that efficiency.

Sounds like you deal primarily with large vehicles. I have no valid opinion on those.

Was referring to passenger cars. After buying American forever, I broke down and bought Japanese. Much less hassles.

“More like a hullabaloo on steroids—”

LOL, the “hullabaloo” I was referring to was about the distribution model. I realize the stock has skyrocketed. Good article on Paulson, Steyer and Bloomberg. I don’t know that I would be so generous about thinking they are doing this because they think global warming is the biggest threat we face. I will not be surprised if we find down the road that some of the biggest proponents have laid some heavy bets on a carbon trading scheme. Maybe I’m too cynical.

Why Tesla Motors can't sell cars in most of the United States

Such a lengthy article and not one mention of the fact that the basic Tesla will cost you between $70k and $90K..............

They’re supposedly working on a $35-45,000 model but I haven’t heard much recently about it.

No, you would’ve had to go to court.
