When All Is Lost: Blame The Tea Party!
Self | 7/31/14 | Me

Only two things are certain in life: death and taxes. Well, not exactly. I'm always dumbfounded when the Tea Party – basically the old conservative wing of the Republican Party – is routinely and viscously slandered as racists, extremists, and blamed for every misfortune or injustice to befall America. What is conveniently concealed or transposed by puppets of propaganda, premeditated with extreme prejudice I might add, is that our members are nothing more than staunch Reaganites: loyal to a man who is largely considered one of the greatest Presidents in American history by Republicans, Independents and moderate Democrats alike. Yet, despite this transcendent revelation, our ranks have been ostracized and attacked by those who scheme and capitulate at our Republic’s expense. And please, if our detractors may for posterity’s sake, explain how the Tea Party’s views are in any manner or form contrary to those of one Ronald Reagan, our nation’s founding premise, and thus, so inherently radical? The truth is; they can’t. The minions of deception and intolerance simply refuse to be questioned or made to answer for their abuses and failures. In other words, they hate authority but expect the people to embrace it unconditionally. It’s like a coupon that allows you to pay more…for watching C-Span. No thanks, I’ll pass.

Just like the Jews in Nazi Germany or Christians under Nero’s rule, Constitutional Conservatives have become a convenient escape goat for the RNC’s feeble attempt to convey the timeless ideals of liberty to a new generation of Americans while serving as the last bastion of resistance against a progressive radicalism that seeks to dismantle our independence and vitality in lieu of unapologetic statism; AKA, Big Government which answers to no one but itself. If you ever respected and admired your parents, grandparents, or a teacher for the strength of their convictions – which should never waver according to era or circumstance – why would you degrade and distort the beliefs of those ideologues that walk in their footsteps? The problem isn’t the Tea Party – the tried and true cornerstones of economic and religious freedom, self-reliance, limited and transparent government – it’s the media and a two-party system that is far more concerned with manipulating the truth to keep the masses misinformed and divided, than earnestly working together to foster a better tomorrow that honors those established principles. In essence, America is no longer the pinnacle of their focus or allegiance; it is but a piece of property being fought over to divide into two kingdoms, or to force the other into capitulation. Sound anything like the America you once read about?

If the Tea Party, Ronald Reagan, or the greatest minds these United States have ever known, our founding fathers, are so unbearably radical, what does that make Barack Obama, Harry Reid, and Nancy Pelosi who admittedly represent the extreme far left of their party? Mainstream patriots of licensed propaganda? Because an obvious, destructive double-standard exists, this infantile targeting of any person or ideological movement that dare questions Obama’s shoddy record – 7.5 trillion debt, 52 million on welfare, near 50% rise in inflation due to billions in Fed pumping, recently lauded 4% GDP growth (Reagan topped 9%), or federal procurement of illegals at the expense of our sovereignty and taxpayers’ money – is but a symptom of the real disease: contempt.

Until our politicians are capable of sincere objectivity and humility, the activist media held accountable for adhering to a political agenda rather than to their journalistic oath, America will continue to spiral down a perilous path of demagoguery, entitlement, and irreverence. If any so-called leader, or student for that matter, cannot even admit to his own shortcomings and failures without pointing fingers, blaming others without repose, or lashing out at critics who merely possess differing political views, they are nothing more than a petulant child who refuses to delineate between right and wrong. Tell me, in what other sect of society – business, educational, humanitarian – would such behavior be coveted, let alone tolerated? None, for you would be an unemployed tyrant of self-righteousness standing in line at Social Services. No, spanking isn’t abuse; sometimes it’s exactly what a responsive democracy ordered!

Learning to embrace diversity of thought, questioning your own insights and intentions, is not an option; it is a cog in the wheel of competence and servitude. Any idea, party or leader that cannot stand upon the merits of their record, the inevitable criticisms that ensue and the appeal of contrasting beliefs, is inherently flawed and a detriment to true progress. You can either become a relic of tyranny or serve as a pillar of virtue. America is a not game, nor does it need to be ruled by those with no reverence for her well being. The real tragedy is that the media and two-party system has shamelessly convinced you otherwise. Republicans are consciously abandoning age-old principles to appear more like Democrats solely to win an election, while progressives are becoming increasingly indifferent towards Constitutional precedent or the rule of law in their reckless obsession to transform America at all costs. The Tea Party – not motivated by race, greed, or supremacy of any kind – is merely a stark reminder that the rewards of hard work and opportunity, faith and accountability, far exceed the empty promises of immoral and aspiring politicians or the wasteful and senseless subjugation of Big Government. When did the people forget they own government, not the other way around? There’s a reason why 2008 is a lousy year for wine.

It's Left Wing driven hysteria. The New "Red State" Scare.

"ARE YOU NOW, OR HAVE YOU EVER BEEN A SUPPORTER OF TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE?"

The corruption at the IRS should be met with jail sentences for the personal persecution of those on the "wrong" side of the political aisle. The leadership's naked contempt for the law and for half of the people in this country requires it.

Re: “the Tea Party – basically the old conservative wing of the Republican Party...”

You don’t know what your talking about.

The TEA Party is made up of folks of all political persuasions.

Yes, there are some old conservative Republicans, but there are also Democrats, Independents, Libertarians, unaligned voters — but mostly a bunch of just pissed-off Americans.

In the 2010 election, perhaps, but now? The conservative wing of the Republican party...easily over 75%. That constitutes “mainly”. And you’re welcome.
