Congresswoman Says It’s Time to Stop Whining about Canceled Health Insurance
Semi-News/Semi-Satire ^ | 1 August 2014 | John Semmens

Rep. Anna Eshoo (D-Calif) says she is “tired of hearing pathetic stories from people who have been forced to find new insurance plans under the Affordable Care Act. The ACA has eliminated substandard insurance policies and guaranteed that every American will obtain superior coverage.”

“Rather than be grateful that the Government is looking out for their best interests a cadre of complainers are whining that the new plans cost more than their old plans,” Eshoo complained. “Well, duh. These new plans cover more stuff. A lot of the old plans didn’t cover a number of birth control options. Virtually none of them covered sex-change surgery. To get more you’ve got to expect to pay more.”

“Religious fanatics who assert that they have no need for these added coverages are putting their selfish and deluded views ahead of what the legislation has determined is in the best interest of the nation as a whole,” Eshoo contended. “I have no sympathy for their individualistic and egocentric demands.”

Rep. Bill Cassidy (R-La) whose proposed bill authorizing insurers to continue selling ACA non-compliant policies to willing buyers inspired Eschoo’s rant called her remarks “as a clear demonstration of the smirking arrogance that characterizes the thinking of so many proponents of Big Government.”

Maybe she’d get the idea if someone took away her general motors car and made her buy a maserati.

These satires are so well done that I am usually incensed by the time I realize it is satire. Because I think they communicate exactly what the libs are thinking.

Just got back from a gun show. The Dems are toast based off the comments of the common folk.

Gun show attendees are (unfortunately) not really representative of most people in this country. I direct you to doctor & hospital waiting rooms, where invariably you'll find "daytime TV talk shows" blasting -- and laughing, enthralled waiting-room attendees hanging on every word.

It pains me to say it.

You’d be surprised the various types that make up the attendees who make the population. It’s not all rednecks, but patriots who have woken up to the problems coming out way.

Wasn’t implying rednecks at all — more like “sensible” people who aren’t stupid enough to waste any portion of their lives on the utter idiocy that passes for daytime TV! LOL

It’s sick, isn’t it?!?

I was waiting for my father to have a procedure done on Friday, and literally had to walk outside to get away from the “Kelly Ripa” show — omg, who was worse, the dingbat host & hostess or the crowd who would cheer because Kelly said something like “i farted yesterday!” (ok, no she didn’t say that, but something equally as vacuous got raving applause!)
