Media "Brown" Out: The Forensics of Ferguson
Self | 8/18/14 | Me

Posted on 08/18/2014 5:21:45 PM PDT by xuberalles

Famed forensic pathologist, Dr. Michael Baden: “There is a legitimate concern as to whether the shooting was an overreaction.” Anytime someone is shot six times I don’t have a problem with such an observation. However, if a 6'4”, 282 pound man – who moments earlier robbed a convenience store, strong armed the owner and assaulted Officer Darren Wilson in his own car – is charging your position despite continued warnings to stand down, in a violent neighborhood no less, you're likely to shoot repeatedly...especially if the first shots were of no deterrence. Throw in the fact preliminary reports now show Michael Brown had alcohol and marijuana in his system, not to mention an extremely bitter attitude, and the ingredients of fear, anger and confusion make for an explosive cocktail.

Did Officer Wilson overact? Was it necessary to shoot 6 times? Perhaps; perhaps we’ll never know. But then again, none of us, including Dr. Baden or the St. Louis County Coroner, witnessed the events unfold. What we do know is that the wounds were front-facing, indicative of a face-to-face confrontation, and that a man obviously felt provoked and feared for his life. If the Trayvon Martin tragedy taught us anything – other than a racist President and activist media trying to unduly convict an assault victim for defending himself – it’s that no common sense individual is willing to become a statistic to appease the politically correct left’s victimization agenda. Regardless of the incessant politics and posturing, may justice be done and the forces of hate and demagoguery be held accountable for the destructive aftermath they unapologetically incited.

When was the last time any of us were charged by a 6'4" inch, 270 lb 18 year old child with not the sense God gave a pissant. I'd empty my pistol in him as well, most likely -

Don't judge

I see now that Baby Huey's little queer buddy is now a federal witness. This is the same little fart that was there in the Kwikee Mart when big bad Brown pushed around that little old man of a shopkeeper when said shopkeeper complained about being robbed of his merch.

This is the witness who says Brown was shot in the back - yeah, mister unimpeachable.

He probably had 15-17 rounds in his pistol, right? If so I actually admire his restraint.

You either want to shoot him or loose the gun and bullets. Last thing you want is a hand to hand with this guy while he tries to take your loaded gun away.... If you can’t use the gun then you certainly don’t want to have it with you....

Those who keep exclaiming that Brown was unarmed should read some of the stories Massad Ayoop has collected in book form.

One I well remember was the story of a fellow who started beating on a guy who was armed.

The armed person shot the bully six times. The autopsy determined that each shot hit a vital organ that would result in death.

And he did die.

But before he died, he beat the shooter to death.

Even in the infamous Miami FBI shootout, the bad guys were literally dead on their feet. But they still killed FBI men and in turn were killed by an FBI man who was terribly wounded. He lived, but as I recall was disabled for life.

So the idea that an unarmed man can not kill you or that it is evil to shoot a man more than once or twice is not based on real life experience.

Frankly, I like the logic of the lady who shot a home intruder 10 times.

The cops asked her why she shot him 10 times. Her reply...”Because that is all the bullets I had.”

Bring back boar spears.

Keeps enraged thugs “over there” after they charge into it.

Police are trained to fire multiple rounds, or basically until the threat is stopped.

Duh. It’s not about the justice, it’s about the payout and the power.

“All we want is an arrest” will become the Brown attorney mantra now, because that opens the door for the wrongful death lawsuits. Lawyer Crump doesn’t need a win at trial to hit the jackpot, he needs a city and insurance company scared of bad press and rioting, and he’ll settle.

There is no justice at play here. It’s about money for the lawyers, money for the media who gain ratings and sales from the discord, and power for politicians and professional race hustlers like Jackson and Sharpton who whip up tribal fears and rage and a desire for revenge.

There’s no motivation for this to be dealt with in a fair, rational way, unless you are the cop involved or an idealistic outside observer.

Just go look at some of the comments regarding this autopsy report on some of the mainstream news sites. There are knuckleheads saying this proves the cop executed Brown. Facts are meaningless. Truth, logic and justice are not invited or wanted at this circus.

We are a year past the exoneration of George Zimmerman, and the facts of that case are of no cultural importance. Only the meme of the “murdered” unarmed black teen remains.

Facts are for suckers. Laws are only important when extorting money from deep pockets. It’s all about making the hate pay.

I read on another site that the cop has 60 stitches on his face. And a broken eye socket.

There are reports that the officer sustained significant facial injuries prior to the shooting. If he was punched initially, during the scuffle in the vehicle, his subsequent reactions would be pumped full of adrenalin and multiple shots with compromised aim would not be abnormal.

I blame the police for not getting their side out immediately. Letting rumors fly and not setting the record straight is inexcusable.

One problem that is apparent to me is most police departments nationwide do not have enough funds budgeted for range time. Police officers, with good comprehensive combat pistol training programs should be able to bring down any thug with one or two center of mass shots at the most. In addition to saving funds for ineffective marksmanship, (Read: 4 rounds to a perps extremities) innocent bystanders will be less at risk for fly away rounds.
