The concept of a totalitarian state was an invention of the twentieth century. The notion of a state or nation whose government could control virtually all aspects of its citizens’ lives was not conceivable in prior times.

It is certainly true that in monarchies throughout history, the average subject had little capability to individually alter his finances, geographical mobility or political status. But the monarch’s reach into the personal life of his subjects was largely restricted to the upper aristocratic coterie that surrounded him. Tradition, religion, ethnic constraints and geographical proximity were far more influential in determining the beliefs and behavior of the average subject than were the machinations of the king.

Communism and National Socialism were almost the exact same thing. National Socialism used love of country to unite people and Communism and Socialism use class struggle but other than that they are very similar.

Islam is a theocracy today, just as it was in the seventh century. It has controlled every aspect of individual life with brutal punishments for the smallest trespasses. Because the degree of control is so inhuman, there have been moderate forms practices from time to time and place to place. However, the core of this theocracy has remained the same throughout.

Islam and National Socialism have been joined at the hip since the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Mohammed Effendi Amin el-Husseini, made his way to Berlin to be with the Nazis. After failing to deliver Iraq to the Germans in early 1941. His coup against the British government in Iraq failed, so Amin el-Husseini fled to Rome and was in Berlin by year's end. The Grand mufti became fast friends with the top Nazis, including Hitler, Goebbels, and Himmler. Amin el-Husseini and Himmler colluded in the “final Solution” to the Jews. The Grand Mufti also raised 42,000 men for two Muslim mountain divisions of Bosnians, Croatians, and Albanians to fight partisans in Yugoslavia.

The two SS divisions from Yugoslavia's Muslim population were the infamous 13th Waffen SS Gebrigs Division (Handschar or Sword) and the 21st Waffen SS Gebrigs Division (Skanderbeg). SS conscription in Yugoslavia during the war produced 42,000 Waffen SS and police troops. Post WW2, Nazism continued to have powerful roots in Islamic states of the Middle East. The Ba’athist Party has Nazi under pinning and Hitler's “Mein Kampf” remains a best seller in Middle East bookstores.
