In an interesting coincidence, in a number of precincts, Republican Ed Gillespie received fewer than 10 votes. Yet, this was not because of a lack of eligible voters.
Instead, Gillespie's opponent, Mark Warner, did extremely well in such precincts, drastically out-gaining his opponent. Warner went on to win.
Added together, the precincts that Gillespie received 9 or fewer votes adds up to 98. In those same precincts, Warner received an astounding 5,657 votes.
Even stranger is the fact that a number of these precincts were near each other and drastically favored Warner.
In Newport News City, there were seven precincts where Gillespie received fewer than 10 votes. Though Warner won the city 60.4-37.6%, in these seven precincts, the margin was an astronomical 98.5-1.5%, or 1,791-28.
You can see some of these precincts below:

There were multiple reports of problems with the voting machines all over Virginia.
Funny how we had problems with voting machines during the first general election after McAuliffe is sworn in. And a month after he slashed the budget for the state board of elections....just connecting a dot or two.
No.
It will be interesting to see what happens with the canvass.
My fear is that any “correction” in these precincts will be offset by ballots that are “miraculously” discovered in a corner someplace that ‘someone’ ‘forgot’.
That's what I was thinking. Always wondered why this wasn't done in PA during 2012 Presidential where Romney got 0 votes in some districts. All you needed was a few voters who sign an affidavit claiming they voted for Romney in those districts.
It would be interesting to see past results. Also it would be interesting to see voter
registration numbers if they are divided by party. I suspect there are precincts
across the US where these type numbers routinely occur, especially in large cities.
There is no party registration in Virginia.

I’m afraid I stand corrected. These are reasonable numbers!
Definitely!
Can believe it easy. My wife and I (as poll watchers) closed such precincts in Maryland. The vote ratios were 10 to 1 or worse for the Dems. Michelle Obama offered them fried chicken.
Beckel so much as admitted dems like to hold back votes in traditional(high volume)dem areas...for what other reason except to add what they need(from whatever bunny they can pull out of their butt)in a close race?
Republicans need to lawyer the hell up and contest this sh t to the fullest extent of the law(and beyond). Motor-voter, early(non-verifiable)voting, no voter-ID...'pubs better start growing a spine and attack this aggressively or they'll become extinct, especially with a flood of illegals soon to add to the mix(look no further than "former" Reagan Country California to see what it did for the dems).
They broke the law coming to this country in the first place, don't think perpetrating a little voter fraud is gonna deter them from becoming an entrenched political power.
Besides, Mexican cartel money makes the Koch brothers look like pikers.
...the party of Satan will do whatever it takes to destroy EVERYTHING traditional America.
Thanks for looking up the info. I thought about it and decided not to.
I wouldn’t immediately attribute this to fraud, but it would be interesting to get to know LaHoods a bit and see who lives there and also survey a few of them to see how they voted. For example, if you find 10 people willing to swear that they voted Republican, yet the official count says 5 people, then you have a case to start a real investigation.
“Do any of you Virginians know what the Republican primary vote was in those precincts?”
No primary for the pubs, but a search of approximate voter totals by precinct may yield some interest.
