Politics North Dakota Names Landfill After Obama Nov 17, 2014
Climate Change And Global Pollution To Be Discussed At Copenhagen SummitThe state of North Dakota has named a new publicly-owned landfill after President Barack Obama.
In an overwhelming 35-10 vote, the state Senate advanced a bill naming a 650-acre site currently under construction after the nation’s 44th president. Governor Jack Dalrymple is expected to sign the measure into law Tuesday.
When completed, the Barack Obama Memorial Landfill will be the largest waste disposal site in North Dakota, and the 17th largest in the United States. It will be especially rich in toxic waste from the local petroleum and medical industries.
“We wanted to do something to honor the president,” says Republican State Senator Doug Perlman, who was the lead sponsor of the bill. “And I think a pile of garbage is a fitting tribute to Obama’s presidency.

The landfill is a much better. Better yet a sewage facility.

They should take out the word “Memorial” and replace it with “Legacy.”
Even the Democrat who voted for this has the sense to realize Obama sold her out as evidenced in her comments.
Obamacare wasn’t the Canadian-British progressive system of healthcare, just a bailout for big hospital groups and insurance companies that had to deal with their bills not getting paid by uninsured people.
People Mitt Romney called ‘freeloaders’ and of course Romney gave us a state version of Obamacare called Romneycare.

How are schools doing which were named for Obama??
I was a bit surprised that so many schools have been named for Obama. In the past, schools were not named after someone while they were still alive.
I wonder about student achievement in those schools. We know that naming the schools for Obama was supposed to help the self esteem of minority students in those schools. But have they been inspired to academic achievement in honor of the man the school is named for????? Just wondering.......
