Conference on Masculinity Features Lecture on Men who are Sexually Aroused by My Little Pony

The International Conference on Masculinities took place in New York City this year from March 6-March 8. Its twin goals are to “infuse men’s activism in support of gender justice with the rigor and insights of the most up-to-date research” and ” increase cooperation and ties between academic researchers who address various gender issues, and feminist activists, practitioners, and advocates.”

The conference features various presentations, as well as “short one-person talks (with Q-&-A), workshops, films, art, poster presentations, informal roundtable discussions, music, and performances.” They also accepted “formal academic papers” during the conference.

Also featured in the conference was an entire lecture about grown men who are sexually aroused by the cartoon My Little Pony.

To these men, sex with a human is considered bad, while not being attracted to horses was a mortal sin. And, according to the researchers, these people are, in part, responsible for “the patriarchy” and “male privilege.”

According to John Bailey and Brenna Harvey, who did their research on My Little Pony and the men aroused by it, “Men have a hard time buying the notion that there is a patriarchy, that there is male privilege. The feminist talking points don’t make any sense to them. I think it’s something that the feminist movement and feminist allies need to be cognizant of and aware of and find a way to talk past that.”

Wow. Everyone in attendence combined and you might get half of a testicle. And that’s only because there were women there.

Maybe it's because the feminist talking points don't make any sense, period. (Can I say that? Period, that is.)

I don’t get how any guy could be turned on by Sarah Jessica Parker. But what do I know.

There is little, animate or inanimate, that has not excited some men to orgasm.

You catch it from hanging out with democrat women.

All jokes aside, I find it incredible that men would regard "my little pony" as a fetish. It's like finding cabbage sexy. I just don't get it.

I once saw a documentary about bronies, but there was no mention of sexual arousal.

My friend works at the hotel in Scottsdale where the Brony convention was held in 2014. Who even knew there were enough “Bronys” to have a convention? He said most of the rooms there were booked.

He posted some hilarious photos of the event. He said most of the attendees were male and there’s a huge pecking order with the people that can only afford a tail or headpiece coming in last. The people with the full pony costumes were the rock stars of the event.

I just could not believe the photos. I’m hunting to see if I can find some of his and share them.

well masculinity of today is a far cry from my father's time....

men used to get together at the K of C or the Moose or sometimes they would be in Nocturnal Society...they would be no shortage of boy scout leaders or men coaching CYO etc..

masculinity today means looking half female, acting half female, but still using their small heads frequently. Unfortunately, its usually done in front of a computer screen or with a real life magazine in their hands...

You are not far wrong.

Apparently there are people who are aroused by seeing a horrific accident where people are killed.

Compared to that being turned on by a children's cartoon seems positively benign. Still weird though.

Do a google image search on “bronies”, but beware, they can be disturbing.
