Mark Levin Blasts Fox News for Attacking Ted Cruz: Do They Want Jeb Bush for President?
PJ Media ^ | 24-03-2015 | Michael van der Galien

On his radio show yesterday, Mark Levin criticized his “friends from Fox News” for secretly supporting Jeb Bush and attacking real conservative candidates like Ted Cruz:

"As you all know I’m a huge fan of the Fox News channel. Particularly certain hosts. But I have to wonder: if Ronald Reagan was running in 1976 starting in ’75 against Gerald Ford, how most of the people at Fox would treat him. Because to my great dismay – as I was preparing for the program, I had my favorite cable network on – and a number of the people were trashing Ted Cruz. Not enough experience, he’s too young, too conservative, needs a bigger tent, he’s down in the polls… These people are neophytes. Neophytes. They’ve never fought in Republican primaries for conservative candidates. They don’t even take the time to learn the history of this country or the Republican Party. And I am convinced that if Reagan were alive today and Gerald Ford were live today, and we were doing a rerun of 1975-1976, Reagan would be trashed all over our favorite cable channel."

He continued:

"The question isn’t whether Reagan would be supported by conservatives today – he most assuredly would – the question is whether he’d be supported by several people on our favorite cable channel. And the answer is no."

Levin added that those people probably support Jeb Bush.

The question is, of course: is he right? Well, he followed his criticism up with these Facebook updates...

As for O’Reilly, his head is so big, I am surprised he can make it through the TV studio doors.
Plus his interviews, especially those of Obama, are like something out of Ted Mack’s Amateur Hour TV show.

If O'Really would shut his trap and let his guests say something, he would be marginally tolerable.
As it is, he's a screeching washer-woman, and about as palatable as mashed potatoes with carpet tacks mixed in.

The only reason I'm seeing him and Dennis Miller in Cleveland is for Dennis and DMZ only.
If I'm lucky, BoOR will get laryngitis that evening.

FAUX News is right. At least the weather channel gives something of value (forecast).

By Carlson, I mean Tucker, not Gretchen.

And Hannity is more a Reagan Republican than a Reagan Conservative.

Hannity has become a shrill flake. I wouldn’t trust him this election.

My list was just some names off the top of my head. You may disageree with my assessment of each Fox News personality. But you have to agree that there aren’t many hard core conservatives there. IMO, Judge Pirro is the only one.

Judge Nap, OTOOH, is a libertarian. Notice that there are actually more libertarians on Fox News than there are hard core conservatives. But there are more establishment talking heads there than there are conservatives and libertarians together.

“The RNC has nominating the designated loser down to a science. The candidate most of the GOP voters will have to hold their nose to vote for. And some won’t.”

So right. Brit Hume was blathering on the Kelly File about how the base didn’t really want a conservative candidate since McCain, Romney, Bush were nominated. I gagged. This is like 1984 - TPTB chose for us, then tell us it’s what we want. And if we don’t want it and stay home instead of voting for THEIR candidate, we are also blamed.

I don’t know what can change here, but something has to.

RE:”On his radio show yesterday, Mark Levin criticized his “friends from Fox News” for secretly supporting Jeb Bush and attacking real conservative candidates like Ted Cruz: “

Typical Levin BS to stir up his listeners with :”Dont listen to anyone but me, I am the only one you can trust”
And this sounds like he is claiming that Cruz is the sole competition against Jeb which is lunacy.

Cruz has been on a number of FNC shows the past day leading off the programs, like both Kelly and Hannity’s primetime opening program interviews.

FNC is not going to coronate Cruz this early and just ask him softball questions that Levin comes up with so early just because Levin has picked him.

Recall how Levin went ballistic in 2011 because FNC didnt coronate Palin as the nominee, and she wasnt even going to run.

“Gutfield - Conservative”

I used to think Gutfeld was more Libertarian but he has been moving more into GOP-Establishment for quite some time.

He definitely has never been a Conservative - not surprising since he went to UC-Bezerkley.

It was predictable...and now, obvious.

IMO, their support for Jeb hurts them more than it helps Jeb.

The fact that Fox News is far more objective than ABC, CBS, NBC or CNN, does not mean that they are truly Conservative in the traditional American sense. They look more so than they are, because the other TV news sources are so ridiculously compromised by an inability to challenge anything that their staffs were indoctrinated into in Academia.

The essential aspect of traditional American culture goes virtually unrecognized in contemporary American news rooms. Let me, in a few sentences, suggest what is of paramount importance if one would understand why American States used to work so well; why American settlers out-performed their cousins in their respective lands of origin; why we embarked on the path we did in 1776 to 1789; and what Fox News may be missing now.

Unlike the residual populations, who remained in those countries of origin, and who grew up accepting existing Governments, as a fact of life, seen in many respects as the deus ex machina of the second rate novel--an imaginary solution to any & all socio/economic problems;-- the American settlers understood from personal experience that Government was the result of a compact of the people. The first Americans, literally, built local Governments from the ground up.

Thus Americans in the formative generations, learned first hand the essential qualities of personal responsibility & self-reliance. It is these qualities, absolutely essential to our survival as a free people, that have been under incessant attack from the Left for the past Century.

When the sophisticates at Fox News deride Ted Cruz, for threatening to shut down the Government, rather than surrender the Constitutional principles which grew out of that essential American ethos, they merely reflect the confused wishful view of Governmental significance, which had stifled development in the lands of origin, through the centuries.

If we forget that America was Grounded On Experience & Reason, simply because the News Media are too sophisticated to question the idiotic deus ex machina view of Government, which has stifled much of humanity through the ages, we are finished as a recognizable America.
