Is the Looming Arab war -- Precursor to the Islamic Caliphate?
3/28/2015 | Vanity

The first 6 Arab nations to form the Arab League are:

Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and Saudi Arabia. Iraq, Lebanon, and Syria are no more.

Egypt was almost lost, and is well into it's recovery from intensive care thanks largely to Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, who might become the most accomplished of Arab Leaders, if he holds true.

I believe El-Sisi was the impetus of the Arab League getting it's act together with coordinated political, diplomatic and military efforts to keep Iran off the Sinai Peninsula. Is their any doubt now why any sane person would deny a nuclear armed Iran?

The point is, Iran will be crushed if they continue to pursue a presence in Yemen. They cannot sustain a war with the resurging Arab League -- both politically and militarily. Unless of course they obtain Nuclear weapons. Something it seems Obama is all too willing to concede.

Is this resurgence and rebirth of the Arab League going to be the start of a Sunni lead Islamic Caliphate? Once they reign in Iran and send it packing from Yemen where will they go from there? The time would certainly be ripe and the door will be open.

Another unknown in the equation: If Iran is allowed to CONTINUE to produce weapons-grade ingredients, is whether the Arab League, et al, might justify a conventional or nuclear first-strike posture on Iran. This is a serious question, given the history of Iran's behavior and record of lies and betrayals.

Serious food for thought.

A couple of points, well maybe three:

1. Syria is goner from any new Arab League.
2. Iran will not get suckered into a war with Saudi and Egypt.
3. They have there own Sucker to deal with right now and he and his Secretary of State are being very cooperative.

All of this means to me that we will not see a major confrontation with Iran involvement this time around in Yeman.

Iran will provide a little advice to the rebels, a little weapons and logic support and a little moral support - that’s it.

After that the Yeman bad guys are about to find out what happens to you when you left hanging out in a dangerous territory and your mother has left you all alone.

I am willing to predict there will be a time when there exist a coalition between Israel and the more moderate Muslims in the middle east. Nations such as Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Saudi Arabia will have to decide do they really want to live the life of the 1500 century version of their religion, or interpret the Koran to allow them to co-exist with “non-believers.

The choose will be for them to put down the radicals themselves or find themselves in the center ring of the next World War, one that will involve nuclear weapons.

Like the years leading up to both world wars the die has been cast, it is coming. It is time for them to choose which century they want to live in. Regardless, things will not go on as they have, change is coming.

“first-strike posture on Iran”

That’s what I’m hoping.

An overlooked aspect. What becomes of Israel?

I would like to see the Arab League recognize that it’s not going to eradicate Israel, make peace with that. Then tell the Palestinians to STFU, and persecute Hamas, Fatah, Hezbollah and the Muslim Brotherhood. If they want to form a Caliphate that adopts that as well makes peace with the West and eschew expansionism. Then I’m okay with that.

Don’t forget Pakistan is in on this from the start.

The history of the Arab Islamic world is that one tribal group comes to dominate others, and that there are occasional swings between pragmatists who like wealth and development and religious fundamentalists who steal and murder.

Islamic groups aren’t above allying with non-Muslims, such as the Franco-Ottoman alliance or the examples of World War I.

Glad to see you back posting. You might want to put this post on your home page:

Hopefully, the moderates and Israel will destroy Iran and its dangerous proxies.

Hopefully, my great grand kids ( I have none at this time) will look back in history and thank El-Sisi for bringing together the moderate Arab nations to destroy the Iranian Thugs and all the ISIS thugs and other murderous Islamic sectsin the middle east.
