Amid the left's attempts to raise a ruckus about Indiana's passage of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act....we're now seeing threats by some companies, groups, and individuals, bowing to the PC gods..to boycott the state. In case anyone has forgotten, it's about 15 years since the NAACP instituted its boycott of South Carolina. So, how's that been working out?
Boycotts never work.
If liberals want to go on thinking that South Carolina is a racist backwater infested with gun toting rednecks, that’s fine.
No transplants. That’s how I want it to be.
Keep it up, Indiana.
Perhaps you will be honored by being the capital of the New United States - which is rapidly becoming more than a pipe dream.
We can then watch the red states sink in incompetency, bankruptcy, and crime whilst we continue the tradition of proud and free people.
Liberals be damned.
And damned again.
Rinse, repeat.
Oops, methinks I performed an Obama....that’s blue states, not red states, methinks.
Why, oh why did we pick it that way?
If they did, Connecticut and Seattle would be prime targets for their retalation against Indiana’s religious freedom law. I wouldn’t and won’t visit either place nor purhase anything knowingly from either place by direct or online means.
“Boycotts never work.”
__________
The NAACP started a boycott of SC to protest the Stars and Bars flying over the capitol dome, with the US flag and the SC flag. They took it off of the capitol and put it on a memorial on the statehouse grounds. When that was not satisfactory to the NAACP, they kept the boycott on.
Goes to show you that some people aren’t willing to take yes for an answer.
Did crime go down?
Think of it this way: red blood is healthy, oxygenated blood. Also think "red-blooded" Americans.
But reverse boycotts do.
South Carolina now has the whitest beaches on the Atlantic Coast!
;^)
I don’t care for Myrlte Beach. Much too plastic and neon. When I was a college student and high schooler, it was a great place to party, but now that I have grand kids, I prefer Tybee, and St. Simon. Quieter (with the exception of party weekends- advertised well in advance), and less touristee.
I love SC, keep up the good work NAACP., fewer of you, the better.
How’s that Chick Filet boycott working out for ya?
Liberals be damned.
And damned again.
you see where this is going....
And damned again.
One More Time!
And God Bless America XOXOXO
“Did crime go down?”
No....just more BBQ joints.
Maybe Gary will secede.
I’d like to visit Tybee sometime; I see it from the beach on Hilton Head. Always liked HHI. Avoid deep summer which is hot & crowded, go in May & September; the weather & traffic are mild & it’s not too expensive.
Been to Redneck Riviera aka Myrtle Beach. Unzoned.
Of course the fact that South Carolina doesn’t have an arena large enough to host regional games for the NCAA Basketball tournament has made that boycott a lot easier for the NCAA to live with.
