I've never done this before and I hope i'm doing this right.. Sunday the 29 of March I went into the Hospital with an AFib (Atrial Fibrillation) that wouldn't stop. After they got my heart beat back to normal 67 beats per minute instead of 180.. I've had AFIBS now since 2010 but they always flipped to normal after 6 to 12 hours..Since I have COPD this only compounds the problem.. Stopped Smoking 2009.. Then After my release I got Phenomena Went back into the Hospital on the following Sunday and was released on Wednesday.. Please say a little Prayer for me and my family.. Maybe I can get well enough to take care of wife who is also handicapped.. Thank you and may God Bless.

My prayer is that Yahshua, who said He was our physician, touch you and make your heart beat normal and in order. I pray that your wife be strengthened and be able to tend to her needs and to support you with love and kindness. I pray this prayer for myself and my husband. We have the exact situation as you and your wife. My husband has Afib and I am an invalid. We are struggling but with the Lord’s help we are healing with each new day. May He bless all of His children with His strength, love, mercy and compassion.

You bet! Prayers up for you and your wife.

Prayers for your docs too, that they actually want to find the cause of your problems, rather than just give you drugs to manage symptoms.

The healing is already yours to grasp :

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Isa 53:5

All but to ask :

Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise. Jer 17:14

and all should know :

The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life. Job 33:4

Many healing prayer for you my friend and all you need to do is believe and receive your healing

The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer. Psa 6:9

Amen !

With AFIB you may have risk of a blood clot (which your Doc may have explained already). The heart pools blood because it is not pumping properly. Be sure to know where your nearest Stroke Trauma facility is located. If you get a blood clot that moves to the brain, you will need to have clot busters as soon as possible to minimize any potential damage.

Be sure to alert anyone that may be able to explain your AFIB to an EMT or Paramedic so that they know what the situation is. If you can get a medi-braclet to indicate your condition, you can worry less as you go about your daily routine.

My Dad had AFIB that had not been detected and passed away from a blood clot to a cerebral artery that was not handled in the time window that would minimize the impact.

God has provided us with the intelligence to remedy these types of conditions that can allow us to live long and healthy lives. I thank Him that you have detected your condition before complications have arisen.

I will pray that He will protect and preserve you so that you can continue to care for your precious wife!

My Marine Corps son has had several rounds of issues with afib. He’s still in his 20’s and now has a pacemaker / defibrillator implanted in his chest. It all started when he was given a typhoid vaccination while he was sick with the flu when he was at training. One thing he found that he has to avoid is any consumption of alcohol which seems to trigger afib. Prayers up for you Mr. Tallyhoe.

My mom has this. She even had an operation for it, yet it continued to happen. She initially had to stop drinking both alcohol and coffee....two things she never had much of anyway...then chocolate and anything with msg in it. Now if she also drinks a glass of coconut water or an electrolyte drink before bed and it does not happen. Watch that msg!!! It’s in a lot of foods.

While I pray for your health, I also pray that you will find a good cardiologist. I spent over 20 years on medication for AFIB yet ended up in the hospital on occasion to be shocked back into normal rhythm. Finally I chose ablation and have avoided hospitalization for the past 7 years. Your COPD may complicate matters, but I suggest you discuss ablation with your doctor. It was a blessing to me to get off heart meds, especially the occasional cumidin and blood tests that accompany its’ administration.

Suffered from AFib here as well. Cause was defective, leaky mitral valve which did form a blood clot causing a stroke. Last year valve replacement and the surgeon performed a new procedure (sorry, don’t know the correct term for it) but at the time of surgery he “scared the heart to inhibit the electrical impulses which caused the AFib. Since that time AFib is mostly under control, go back for my yearly check up next month and, with the Lord’s help, will receive a good report. After living with the malady for so many years, the changes have been outstanding. God bless you on your bath and guide you through your detours wheather long or short.
