Washington Post political reporter Chris Cillizza recently lectured Rand Paul not to play media critic. Now he’s decided conservative media critics as a whole have no argument in an article provocatively headlined “No, the media isn’t biased in favor of Hillary Clinton.” There is no evidence for that charge, he wrote, even as he acknowledged the embarrassing video of journalists chasing after the Scooby van.

I think they do - after they’ve repeated and justified and had them reinforced by friends, leaders and the media often enough. Well, most of them anyway. The cynical elitists probably don’t.

Of course we’re not biased... we never have been biased, ever. It’s just that Hillary is the smartest woman to ever walk the face of the Earth, and she’s the greatest leader this country will ever see. It’s hard to sound unbiased when we’re just reporting the facts about this most wonderful person.... demigod really. It doesn’t make it any easier to sound unbiased when the Republicans are all greedy liars and they want to steal from the poor to enrich their own war-mongering friends like Dick Cheney and they want to destroy the planet.
One really embarassing thing is when these second and third generation (and 2nd and 3rd rate) reporters/journalists transparently realize, late, that their gravy train is lashed up to their unwavering support of the democrat party. You know, they probably got out of J-school surely biased towards the liberal side but maybe retained some yellow journalism noogies in their craw. Then they get out there and either slowly or quickly realize there is essentially no need for what they paid so much money to learn, that they have to supplicate and abase themselves in order to survive long enough to perhaps, at some future date, begin actual reporting. In the meantime they are grunt privates who can either do what they are told or go peel potatoes or slop latrines. And this guy is example #1.
They never allows themselves to be "pinned down", or accountable. More lies are always necessary to cover up a previous lie. And typically, they even begin to believe their own lies and become outraged at any suggestion that they may be lying. Thus they become sincere in their lying and others may actually believe the lies because of the sincerity.
