I don't live there, but there is a big RNR movement in Michigan.

Every conservative and Christian should move out of their blue states and move to purple or red states, thus making those states conservative and letting your votes count.

I worked up in MA and persuaded my misses ot move out of the hell hole. She did . We quit our jobs, she moved away from family and she loves it here now.

At least our money does not go to socialist programs and our counts actually do vote unlike being in a blue state.

1) Sorry, I refuse to use the mainstream media assigned color scheme. Communist China is an example of a "red nation rising".

2) Red certainly has NOT "always been the color of FREEDOM and the pursuit of LIBERTY". For example, the Bolsheviks celebrated 'Red October' and it represented the opposite of that.

3) Most of the websites from conservatives in so-called "red" states talking to the rest of us in so-called "blue" states are activists whining about their so-and-so 90% conservative Senator is unacceptable yet WE "blue state conservatives" need to accept a pro-abortion, gun-grabbing socialist RINO because such a candidate is "the best we can get" in a RAT state. So again, the message is the exact opposite of "FREEDOM and the pursuit of LIBERTY"

Not just no chance, but no chance in HELL here in New Mexico. I stopped watching The Walking Dead a while back when I realized that I am living it here in the Socialist Republic of Eastern California. The one half way deceit Representative we had in Washington Steve Pearce done went and got himself fitted with a nice shinny new RINO nose. At least Bill Richardson gave us a nice train to ride all the way to Socialist HELL.

New Mexico PING!!

Yup. Not giving up in Michigan. We got our GOP supermajority and now we’re working on whipping them to the right.

Apparently a lot of folks did just that a few years ago. After the 2010 Census, Red States gained 11 Electoral Votes that Blue States lost by the changes in population. I lived in Michigan for 10 years. Finally had enough of that Socialist pig-sty and we got our asses back to Texas; one of the ten States with no State Income Tax.

I understand. You and I are old school. People under 40 do not associate the color “red” with “Communism”. I could not understand why the Conservative States got labeled “Red”. Who made that decision anyhow? But, I’d join a movement called “Kiss a White Man’s Ass” if it would help bring defeat to the Obamaites, Clintonites, Sodomites and baby killers.

If there’s any part of the country that could go from blue to red it would be the midwest. I think Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, and Iowa could all go red in 2016.

Whoa...... How did Susana Martinez get elected Governor? I researched her, and unless she’s lying, she’s pretty Conservative. Also, I’m thinking that if one of the two top spots on on the GOP Ticket is filled with a Hispanic, we might have a chance of carrying NM. What say ye?

The biggest changes for the better have been in the midwest. At this point our biggest problems are within the GOP itself and that’s a national problem.

“I could not understand why the Conservative States got labeled “Red”. Who made that decision anyhow?”

That all stems from a map that was published on the internet after Bush (finally!) defeated Gore in 2000.

The map showed the county by county results of the election, which, geographically, was overwhelmingly for Bush. The person who made the map used red for the Republican counties and blue for the dem ones. That nomenclature just stuck, even though it was 180 degrees from the color scheme that had been used in the past.

I doubt the original mapmaker, or artist, or whatever we might call him or her meant anything bad by it, they probably didn’t even know about what had been used before.

What the hell happened to New Hampshire? Oh well, they probably only have one congress critter anyway. New York is shocking too, so red!

I’m hearing some talk about dividing the country, but I don’t see an easy way to do it, unless we can just get all the libs to move to the west coast. We might need to cede some territory, maybe that part down by New Mexico.

Its important to note that the large blue districts are sparsely populated and could be converted to red with relatively few new conservative arrivals.

The big blue district running north of Detroit (5th district) is a good example. Flint and Saginaw in the southern half drag it democrat and the sparsely populated northern half is dragged along for the ride. The conservative numbers there are high enough that they can only elect a relatively moderate democrat like Dale Kildee. (Obviously it would be better with a republican)
