This week, the Jefferson Memorial was drawn into the national debate about race following the shooting deaths of nine people in a predominantly black church in South Carolina last week. It joins other public statues depicting Southern or Confederate figures, including Jefferson Davis and Robert E. Lee, that some are arguing represent the country's racist past and should be removed.
CNN anchor Ashleigh Banfield this week questioned whether the Jefferson Memorial should be taken down because Jefferson owned slaves. "There is a monument to him in the capital city of the United States. No one ever asks for that to come down," Banfield said.
Fellow anchor Don Lemon responded by saying Jefferson represented "the entire United States, not just the South." But he added: "There may come a day when we want to rethink Jefferson. I don't know if we should do that." ...

The chatter about removing all the Confederate landmarks has absolutely NOTHING to do with righting any wrongs or the 9 that were shot and killed in Charleston. Its about seeing how much the leftists / Marxists can get away with and to set the bar even higher.

Your post made me think - I haven’t heard any stories on who those nine people were other than the minister. (Two other ministers were also killed).
One of the dead was an 87 year old, and her cousin. One young man Tywanza Sanders, 26-years-old and a recent graduate, jumped in front of his relative to try to protect her. They both died.
I know we make fun of some of the odd names on other threads, but here is one guy that could have made a difference in this neighborhood (Bible believing and brave), and the punk psycho snuffs his life out, along with all the other people doing positive things in that city.

If anyone asks a question such as Ashleigh Banfield, and asks it seriously, such a person is a firm believer in slavery, the modern Democrat version.
I think that any statue they try to remove should have large demonstrations / protests about how this has nothing to do with the shootings but about removing American icons for a takeover by foreign invaders being assisted by enemies of the state at the highest levels of our government. The contracors should be stopped from removing them. I would also interview the witnesses at the church and ask them if this is what they want and post the interviews on Youtube.
The sheeple are obvioulsy too stupid or distracted to understand that their emotions are being manipulated with puppetmaster who have an agenda. I guess we need to educate them.
