No. Just one. And NO sort of post congressional remuneration, no pensions. If some attachment to continuity is desired then have the elections of representatives annually with half in even years and half in odd.

Certainly for Roberts who has public photos of approaching the Bank of Yalta with a satchel and his known shenanigans as to adopting his children from the Soviet Union. My guess would be from some years in government employment is that upwards of 95% of government officials, local to feds, have a few black marks that could be turned into blackmail.

‘Power, perks and prominence. Greed, vanity, loss of morals and commitment supplanted by every manner of vice - corruption, self-delusion and illogical rationalization for quixotic capitulations to evil (here, Obama) in the name of “winning the WH in 2016 or getting that damned elusive Hispanic vote.”’

This, and your whole post, Gaffer. You nailed it with every line.

NG, read this post, and then the rest of the thread, IF you want to learn about conservatives. But be warned: you will discover there is nothing special about my brand of conservatism. I am just a garden variety, non-LIV conservative. (And you really do need to learn more about conservatives. It would disabuse you of some of your sillier misconceptions.)

Is it true that Supreme Court Justice Roberts claimed his adopted children were from Latin American when in fact they were from Eastern Europe?

If you have all the Phone calls, emails and the Patriot Act...you would know...

I wonder what China and Russia will do with 21 million personal records of U.S. employees...

We are probably to the point that only Jehovah God can save us or not save us from our own stupidity.

I pray...that he finds enough righteous souls...to repent
of his Justice...at this time.

No. People assume politicians actually believe in things. They don’t. The party exists to gain power, period. They don’t believe in anything except power, all that conservative talk from the GOP is nothing more than things they think will get you to give them money and votes. When they do things that go against what they say it’s because they never believed in what they said, and the actions will gain them power.

If they are subject to blackmail they should not be in any position of power anyway. Every wart and spot of dirt from their pasts should have been dealt with right up front. Otherwise they are lying by representing themselves as ethical and honest.

We expect that from the RATs; it’s what they DO. But we can’t tolerate it from our own.

I also think Term Limits needs to come up for national public vote for all branches of government including the Judaical Branch and the USSC. It should not be till death appointment.

This point I agree with. The first point, not so much. Here’s why.
The same reason many of us disagree with McCain Feingold. It benefits the Dems far more than us. Look how well it’s worked for Dems, and GOPe. The liberals in this country control 95% of the media. How are Conservatives supposed to get our message to the people so they do contribute. It’s a self defeating principle, and campaign finance restrictions are a violation of the 1st Amendment’s Freedom of Speech.

Lobbyists, have at ‘em. Use ‘em for target practice. :)

Lobbyists, have at ‘em. Use ‘em for target practice. :) Lobbyist have direct one on one communications with our leaders. We don't. If a lobbyist calls their office {likely on a private designated phone number} they get either the man or his right hand then and there. If you or I call we get a 5 figure donors doofus kid interning or employed there reading generic replies like a customer service call or mailing center. Why should Rove and others like him have access to my elected Rep and myself not?

Justus department and judiciary needs to start enforcing bribery laws. Bribery by the nations largest lobbyist representing corporate interest {insurers} got Obamacare passed.

Senate confirmation votes on federal judges nominated by Barack Obama since the Republicans took control of the Senate:
1) Kara Farnandez Stoll— Federal Court of Appeals, confirmed 95-0, 7/7/15
2) Alfred H. Bennett—Southern District of Texas, confirmed 95-0, 4/13/15
3) George C. Hanks—Southern District of Texas, confirmed 91-0, 4/20/15
4) Jill Parrish—Utah District Court, confirmed 100-0, 5/21/15
5) Jose Rolando Olvera, Jr.—Southern District of Texas, confirmed 100-0, 4/20/15

Since he moved in to the Oval Office, 312 Obama nominated federal judges have been confirmed. 114 of them were confirmed unanimously, 38 were confirmed by unanimous consent, 63 were confirmed on a voice vote. That’s 215 judges who were unchallenged and 97 who were challenged.

Six Obama nominees were rejected via Republican filibusters of their nominations. Obama withdrew all six nominations and in all six instances Obama nominated a different judge who was then confirmed.

Nine Hundred FBI files, shared on a LAN with the DNC, on leading and rising Republicans.

How long ago, how many unreal (but close) votes, how many policy reversals ago was that?

For the most part, anyone of any standing in the party (with perhaps a half dozen exceptions) is compromised if they have any skeletons in the closet or can be made to appear to have had any wrongdoing in their past.

Note, too, that the scope of "wrongdoing", once limited to illegal acts, now includes having ever flown a confederate battle flag or making a statement any of the perpetually offended protected groups can howl about with the complete assistance of the MSM.

That is darned tough for even a moral but outspoken person to avoid, especially when the 'offense' is ex post facto.

Crimes go unpunished (or at least untried), votes are lost by 'narrow' but calculated margins, illegal actions of the administration and usurpations of power go unchallenged, and all is funded in due course.

Mere partisan politics, well played, would demand meaningful challenges at every turn, but the promises made to the electorate continue to go unfulfilled, and the agenda proceeds.

I don't think just the key Republicans are compromised, I think most of them are.

In general, I don’t like these kind of theories, but someone or something got to Roberts. He switched his vote in the middle of Obamcare.
