Sarah Palin, unlike many of the GOP presidential candidates who made the trip to Cleveland for the Fox News/Facebook debates, has nearly single-handedly carved a new foundation for conservative resurgence since 2009. Sure 2009 may seem like a long time ago in political seasons, but can you imagine what the state of affairs would be in local, state and national conservative political circles if Palin had not arrived on the scene to breathe life and vitality into conservatism.

I like her, I really do, I would definitely vote for her if she ran. But she’s not going to run, so I don’t see the point in articles like this.

i know about PDS and i’ve skimmed FR on and off for many years now, but don’t ever recall seeing anywhere that committed Palin supporters turned on her to become liberals.

You misunderstand. He was describing the narrative from the Palin cult's point of view; in their minds, anyone who questioned Palin's status as the second coming of Reagan was immediately branded a "liberal".

Make any criticism of her, no matter how minor, and a Wolfpack of Palin groupies would dispatch to spout insults at you. A lot of them seemed to have ended up in the Trump camp.

Sadly that is a fact Norm, any Pro-Palin or articles simply about an event with Sarah. The replies in those threads Pales in comparison to Any threads about Any Controversy with her.

I would love to see Sarah as a moderator. I believe she would make a great President but so many have been so bitter and petty towards her there’s pretty much no chance of that now. After the -08 election I read her book “Going Rogue” and realized that she is even more awesome than I thought.
